This is a well appointed hotel with the friendliest staff. Mackenzie was our check-in person and just the beginning of a perfect stay.From the point of check-in to check-out was perfection. Our king suite was exactly what I had requested. I always request a room on an upper floor away from the ice machine and elevator lobby. I must say that the Hilton Hotels do everything they can to honor your request. I am also a member of Marriott Rewards and a Hyatt Gold Member, but I must say our Hilton experience has been nothing but perfect. Our room was so beautiful. Everything was very clean and bright. There was an ergonomic chair at the desk, extra outlets for the computers and chargers, fully equipped kitchen with dishes and 42" screen TVs. The decor is charming and well done. Did I mention along with the great rate came a complimentary dinner and breakfast. There was free wine and beer as well. They were two Hilton employees who walked around the lovely dining area as we ate to make sure everyone had what they wanted or needed. The dining area has a working fireplace which adds to the ambiance. Kudos to the entire staff!!!!! The hotel is located in an area of shopping malls and restaurants. Location is the key.

The folks at the Homewood Suites at Mayfaire are a great group of people and they're willing to help whenever they can and take their responsibilities very seriously. Whenever help is needed they're there to help. I would especially like to thank the folks in the kitchen, i.e.: Kyle, Matt, Kim, Margaret and Madeline. Then there's the team at the frfont desk, i.e.: Heidi, Robert, McKenzie, Cheyenne and Rachael. The team of folks at this property are a great team and very supportive of their customers.

We have stayed at numerous hotels over the years and found the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Wilmington, NC to be one of the very best. The service provided us during our stay was exceptional. You could not ask for better room service than we received. The complimentary breakfast and evening dinner was far above the norm. A special thanks to the dining room staff and a special thnaks to the hotel staff. WELL DONE!

We stayed at the Homewood suites the week before Christmas. First off the Homewood/Mayfaire is immaculately kept. The staff on point. Everyone was so kind and their hospitality was much appreciated. The breakfast was amazing. So many choices. Dinner was also great.

We were able to do most of our Christmas shopping within a mile of the Homewood suites which is located a a little community. They even have a 16 show movie theater and every single store you can imagine, from" Banana Republic" to "Victoria's secret". Also great restaurants and a HUGE supermarket.

You literally never have to leave the one mile radius.:) You can walk everywhere. Very clean,very cozy and an overall great experience. I would go there again and again. You will not find better or more accommodating staff anywhere else. LOVED IT!!!!
