On top of the room being nasty and the tub not draining at all. I stayed in room 124 with my 8 year old daughter and my mother we left the next day and I called the hotel back and told them my daughter left her D.S. and a game in the room and they said they would look out for it wewent to breakfast and stopped back there to get ity and it magically wasnt there and the maids didnt see it. They told me i probably left it someplace else and why would I leave such an expensive thing in the room or why would my daughter hello she is 8...After giving the run around i never got it back nerver even a sorry nothing just why would our maids take it they have returned bigger things like diamond rings and $700.00. They wouldnt let me speak with a manager or even give me a number to speak with someone higher than them like a owner or somehting. I told them it didnt come with legs so it cant just get up and magically walk away

If your looking for a gross ,roach infested and filty smelly hotel to spend a night look no further because this is it.This place without a doubt actually only needs one thing and that is to be condemed. Thier rude ignorant employees should`nt be working in the hospitality busness but instead on a farm shoveling horse [--]. I could go on forever talking about this dump but sometimes you have put lifes worst experiencec behind you. See my photos below for proof of what a [--] this is.

Comfortable on a budget? Check. Quiet? Check. Cockroach in room? Check.

Needed a cheap place to stay for a Memorial Day Weekend wedding in Wilmington. Tried to pick the cheapest one on the Market St. corridor that would still earn me airline miles.

At the Econo Lodge our $90/night bought us a comfortable king-size bed in what seemed to be a worn but clean room. The room was a good size, with double sinks outside the bathroom - albeit dated, tiled ones. The perks ended there. Here were the downsides:
-Lampshade was old, cracked, and peeling. Back of desk drawer was falling off.
-Came back the first night and found a cockroach on the sink. Eww.
-Showerhead was so low that my 6-ft tall boyfriend had to kneel in the tub to rinse in the shower.
-The noisy A/C unit in the wall managed to make the room cooler than the tepid fridge.
-Service at the front desk was downright unfriendly.
-The TV was very old (this from a girl who doesn't even own a tv, and has low standards for such an item), with bad color, and no remote.

The tired carpeting was worn and stained in multiple places. I couldn't help but giggle resignedly at the "iron" shape burned right into the carpet. Seriously - isn't that about the time when you give up and spend the bucks to replace it?

Continental breakfast = pathetic.

Next time I'm in Wlmington I won't throw quality out the window in exchange for frequent flier miles. I'll just spend a few more dollars to stay at the Quality Inn up the street.

We stayed here Memorial weekend 2009. Our hotel room smelled like urine, especially the bathroom it was really gross. The shower head is really low. To give you an idea I am only 5'1" and the shower head was to low for me. There was a live cockroach under the bathroom sink. The carpet left our feet pitch black. We went outside to go to our car at about 10pm and a bunch of cockroaches went scattering away. We would have left but yeah there was no vacancies anywhere else, and also because they were still going to charge us for our 2 days of stay even if we left. The beds were so hard we might as well been sleeping on the floor. And there was only 2 towels in our room for 4 people to use. I would highly suggest to spend more money and stay some where else it is so not worth it here...
