Let start this off as saying that Priceline got me a low rate, and I got low service. The place smelled liike pets, not a good thing for someone who is allergic to cats. I pulled bedspread off to find blankter with pet hair on it and old dog nails stuck in fabric. Very nasty!!! Bathroom was so small. The door is like an inch away from toilet when it is open. A soda in their machine is like almost $2.00. Location was good and close to alot of things, but no one there would help me find where I needed to go.

If you like cheap prices in cheap places, then stay here!!!

These guys evidently rent to anyone. My stay was filled with an obnoxiously loud group of idiots that stayed in the room next to mine. After several calls to the front desk, no resolution was met. A phone call to the local police department was necessary to control the guests. The management was completely inept and not very concerned about controlling the childish misconduct of their guests.

There are many better places and better prices for your stay in Wilmington.....DO NOT RENT HERE!

I have traveled to Wilmington several times. I had passed to hotel multiple times and wondered what it was like and was hoping that this stay would be different and would not be motel like. I pulled up in the parking lot before check in and felt a knot in my stomach. The check in process was not exactly what i was suspecting. I was given a subtotal instead of adjusted total with the taxes included. I thought that was antiquated. The true total you receive at check in. I entered my "non-smoking" room and the room heavily smelled up smoke. The kitchenette had no NO SOAP whatsoever. The cup i was going to use from the cabinet had something dried up on the inside which disgusted me. The bathroom was clean but there was no lotion, shampoo, or conditioner that i normally expect to be in a hotel bathroom. The refrigerator was extremely loud. The bed in the room was absolutely the worst bed that i have ever paid to sleep in. There were 3 flat pillows and the mattress was probably just as hard as the floor. The bed quilt in the "non-smoking" room had multiple burn holes in it. I could hear the people in the hallways and the neighboring rooms very clearly so much so i was awakened from my sleep on multiple occasions. During my stay i feared for my safety when i entered the hotel and a man exiting the hotel held the door for me. When i exited the hotel again the man was still in the parking lot at the driveway of the hotel waiting to pass out materials about the religion he followed. It was unnerving to know that this man was inside the hotel where i was staying and obviously was not a guest of the hotel since he had the door propped open. I had an undue knock at my door at 10:54am on the day of check out from a hotel staff member wanting to know if i was going to check out. Six minutes later i walk down to the front desk to check out and find out that the checkout time is 11am but they were wanting to know if i was checking out or wanted to stay longer. OBVIOUSLY i was not going to be staying longer in this crappy location or else i would have communicated to the hotel that i wanted to extend my stay. There was absolutely no reason to harassed by the hotel staff before check out. I also assuming that the two times the phone rang in my room during my stay were probably from the over bearing staff wanting to know the same thing since they were the only ones who knew i was at the hotel. JUST DON'T DO IT. I have never felt agitated after staying at hotel normally the feeling is relaxing breath of fresh air. DON'T be fooled.

I checked into this hotel and asked the cheapest long term rate. They told me incorrect info. They gave me a rate that was 40 per night, and a king bed room, and the rate was, they said, monthly. This was not the best rate as given to the long term residents are here and told me their rates are 750 per month. Our shower was luke warm, too, and our a/c and heat didn't kick in right. I asked for pots that were not burnt. The washing machines aren't all working downstairs either. The side door to the hotel doesn't lock right and homeless people have been found sleeping in the hallways. Crystal the manager said I complain too much. A woman in room 313 told me she got here 6 mths ago and pays 750 with her boyfriend.. I asked for a long term rate, and suddenly the manger Crystal Clemmons had a room available..she said she would do me a favor and give me a long term resident rate but I had to move out of my king bed room which wasn't a room they extended for long term rates (which they didn't tell me initially and I was paying 1200 a month instead of 750 as the others were paying). I moved from Room 246 to Room 228, with a queen bed. My young daughter was living with me so it was a smaller room and more inconvenient but the rate being cheaper was worth the difference of price. Then the upstairs resident named Tory started stomping around and making noise from above, our ceiling thumping at past midnight and four a.m. for weeks. I complained of course and crystal said call the cops. I called her DM instead and told him she behaved inappropriately, that bringing the cops to the hotel is bad for the residents and unprofessional of her not to deal with these things, as a manager. She also speaks like ghetto trash, she has no idea how to effectively deal with problems, and is very uneducated.She makes alot of excuses and tries to talk her way out of dealing effectively with the situations. For instance she kept telling her night staff to tell me that all they can do is "monitor the noise". She never did anything about the noise, but she told me I can move my room and the staff would help us. They had room xxx available on the smoking floor which I took since it is a corner room. I told her I expect to be here for months, till the summer maybe. She understood this. Then, together with my 12 yr old daughter and excuses from the staff that noone was around to help us move, my daughter and I moved ourselves to room xxx A week later when time to pay the month came around Kristina the desk clerk called me (today March 9) and said my rate is going back to 40 a night. I explained to her this is impossible. She said that they didn't have any more long term resident rates and that "they told me that". I said I already have the rate, proof is that I was moved out of my $40 king room rate, moved to a "long term rate" at 798 a month (which includes tax but is anticipated at being dropped after 90 days as per the infor given by the Walmart employee in Room xxx) and that I recently moved again to room 300, a queen bed and made it quite clear we were long term residents now, as was clear to crystal. Kristina and Megan told me to take it up wthe manager crystal. It was 3 pm when they called me about this and since I have full days and cannot take it up the next day when I anticipated on paying, I told them to have Krystal call me immediatley. I also left three messages for Bryon Brinson, district manager. I called the hotel about six times to make sure we discuss this immediately, and before five pm. When nobody called me back I called the hotel and told them how crucial it is we speak about his before tomoro, and that they will be rendering my daughter and I homeless if they change the rate. I told the front desk I won't be at the hotel till late tonight and for Crystal Clemmons to call me on my cell phone, which I emphasized cell phone, at 7 pm or after, as i was in a meeting till then. Clemmons didn't call me on my cell. When I got back to the room at 10 pm there was a call from Clemmons on the room phone and she said she wouldn't be reachable until Friday. So, what does that mean for paying on time tomorrow if she isn't available tomorrow to go over this sham she is creating for us? Was she being dismissive or ignorant? I believe, both, as I've experienced this from her during most of my stay. In addition, did I tell you a homeless person was found in the hallway..because of the unlocked side door? I wrote and signed a complaint about that the first few days i was here, stating the obvious safety issue, and it's been a month an a half already and nothing has been done. Ultimately I believe Crystal Clemmons the manager due to her ignorance and lying to us will render us homeless. We will see...I've already contacted Consumer Affairs and will be contacted by an attorney. I believe we may have a lawsuit against them if they do demand to change the terms for me and my 12 year old daughter and not the insane person in Room xxx above us who was so noisy and stomped on the floor and made us change our room, nor for any of the long term residents here. I find Crystal Clemmons discriminating against me as a single mother with a child living here, and there are more discriminations we will address with an attorney if it comes down to us being rendered homeless tomoro. I wonder if they will throw our stuff into the street? I do know that I have already told them I have the money to pay for this month, but Kristina keeps saying "you have to talk to the manager you have to talk to the manager you have to..." Broken record and brain dead.
