I arrived the other night and didn't notice anything at first. After about an hour while eating my dinner a large bug was crawling across the bed. I jumped up and started to examine the room. I found another 5 or 6 bugs on the floor. A few were dead. I went into the bathroom and found 3 large bugs in the tub. When I woke up in the morning there 3 more large ones back in the tub and two smaller ones crawling across the floor. When I checked out I told the front desk and they were aware of the situation. She didn't seem to care and just wanted my signature on the receipt. I will definitely never stay here again. The rate was also a bit high for this quality of a comfort inn. It was dated, the hallway smelled of cigarettes and was supposed to be non-smoking floor. Also there is no elevator.

My family stayed at the Comfort Inn in Washington during Hurricane Irene. No better place to be -- yes, the current went off (nothing they could do about that): yes, there were not any places around to eat (they brought snacks and milk door to door for those that did not bring food with them); but the staff was great - they helped us weather the weather until the current came back on and we could get back to life as normal. They did a great job!

I hope we do not have another Hurricane this year, but if we do, we will go back to the Comfort Inn.

Stayed at this Comfort Inn 5 times over the past 2 months. What this hotel lacks in glitz and glitter was more than made up by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable. The room was good for the price. The bed was so very comfy! When I was there last week, I left my favorite necklace and earrings. I called when I realized that I left them and within a few minutes they were located. They immediately put them in the mail to me! When I travel to Washington, I will stay at this Comfort Inn again.

This is an older hotel in fairly good condition. Our room was basically clean but had some dirt build up in the corners and around the tub and doorways and the window was filmy looking. The room was pretty small for the 3 of us; if there had been 4 it would have been a too small. The beds were comfortable, but the spreads looked old and a little stained. The tv picture was grainy at times - - and the tv would come on and rapidly change channels when I turned on the bedside lamps! My son found this very amusing. The staff was friendly and helpful Our hairdryer did not work and was promptly replaced when I informed the front staff. The pool was clean, but the pool area was not nearly as nice and clean as the pictures showed online. The refrigerator was a good size and held quite a few gatorades that we needed to chill before ball games and the in room microwave was helpful. The breakfast was okay...waffles were good if you could get to the waffle maker, but the bread products looked a little stale. Only 2 cereal choices, if I remember right. The fitness area held 3 machines, but I could never figure out how to get the treadmill to come on (and wasn't interested enough to ask the staff!)
