There's no better place to stay in Wallace or surrounding area. The hotel is clean, feels comfy and safe. The Boar's Head Restaurant and Pub next door is attractive and upscale for this area. It's close to I-40 so access is great and yet is very quiet. There's a new shopping complex about 2 miles away with the standard Wal-Mart/pizza places etc. but we found it handy to have close by. Absolutely NOTHING ELSE IN THIS AREA compares to this hotel. The breakfast is excellent compared to most hotels, lots of choices, and the room where it is served is beautiful, big fireplace and lovely furniture. Have found front desk people to be pleasant, quick check in and out. Hotel did not have a map of the area but they were pleasant about it.

We spent two nights here when we were in town for a funeral. The location is right off the I-40 expressway and is right next to a very good restaraunt and pub. A gas station and sub shop are also right there. The staff was very friendly. The hot breakfast was all you would expect it to be - good & hot and 24hr coffee is available. The rooms have individual heat/ac units that always make more noise than central units but not worth complaining about. Ice is available on each floor. The housekeeping staff replenishes the towels as needed as well as the bathroom articles each day. Newspapers are also available.

I had to be in Wallace for business the first of October and stayed at this Holiday inn Express. It was going through some renovations on the rooms and the one that I stayed in had not been renovated. Once all the rooms are completed I am sure that it will be very nice for a HI Express. Reasonable rates and comfortable bedding. Best place to stay on Interstate 40 befoe you get to Wilmington

We had a very pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Express! The rooms were great and the staff was excellent. Love the breakfast!
