On Oct. 9th, My Dad, Mom and Sister checked into this hotel. Within minutes of walking into the room, my Father had a heart attack. I would like to personally thank the Manager of this hotel and the Owners for helping and the compassion my Mom and Sister recieved when they needed it the most. My Father was life flighted to a Winston-Salem hospital. My family was traveling with a small dog. They allowed my parents dog to stay in the room overnight while my family went with my Father. Even tho they were only there for about 35 mins, the room was a mess from rescue workers, they refunded my Mother the money for the room. Unfortunately 3 days later my Father passed away. I want to thank you guys from all of us. If I am ever up that way, I will be staying with this hotel. THANK YOU for your care and compassion.

The staff was friendly and effecient. The parking lot was safe and well lit which is important to everyonr. The room was clean and in order and the breakfast was ok and the coffee was great. We will go again to this hotel.

I am often staying in the Statesville area for business and tried different Motels. This Motel is good as long as your room is in the second floor. I dont know why but rooms at ground level seems to me much older and worn out.
They are offering a free Continental breakfest, but dont expect too much. Also WiFi is free. If you need a real breakfest, there is a Waffle-House in walking distance.
Call the Hotel directly for the best price! Then it is cheaper than all offers you will find on the Internet.

I was stranded and this was the closest hotel. I was prepared for "the Lobby smell" accompanying many chain hotels these days. Was not disappointed!! The hotel mgr, Patel (big surprise) was very nice. Given the number of overnight guests (5)...he was probably happy to have me. Was given a room at the back of the hotel, when there was plenty of rooms w/ parking. The room *stank*, average cleanliness (see Title Review); TV remote did not work, he pleasantly replaced the TV when he couldn't get the remote to work. I was emotionally drained so didn't really care about anything except a comfy bed. The bed was like sleeping on concrete!!! I went to the breakfast bar...tired a mini muffin. It was sooo stale that I decided not to try anything else b/c "old=germs".
