Robert and I were married on 11-11-11 at The Hitching Post in Harmony, NC. We were surprised by our children with a pre-honeymoon night stay at The Kerr House in Statesville since we were having our reception at The Zodiac that night and taking a cruise later that month. The Kerr House was a great place to relax between events on our special day. We plan on staying again. Thanks for the R&R. Sincerely, The Parkers

“The place to be”
Beautifull historic house where all your needs will be taken care of by Pam and John.
Why anyone would elect to stay at a hotel is beyond me.

“North Carolina getaway”
Pam and John Algiere are warm and welcoming hosts. The charming house is cozy and a quiet place to stay. The room was comfortable. Pam and John are very helpful, knowledgeable, and sincere. It's easy to see why people return again and again.

“Forget Savannah, Let's Just Stay Here”
We booked three of their four rooms. The location is on spacious grounds and private, immaculate, and comfortable. The proprietors were gracious and easy to talk to. Statesville is a nice town with good dining. If you are passing by on I40 or I77, this is a great place to stop for the night.

“VERY CHARMING HOUSE WITH PAM AND JOHN...”
We stayed at The Kerr House on August 1, 2011 during our trip up North. The house is very charming and has lots of character. The Kerr House is on a very quiet street just a few blocks from Downtown. Pam and John are great, helpful, and very friendly. Breakfast was simply delicious. Pam and John made our overnight stay very enjoyable and comfortable. It was like staying at friends' home for the night. We highly recommend this charming guest house.
