The house is tastefully decorated and very clean. Pam makes a wonderful breakfast with homemade pasteries and fresh fruit. Both pam and John are very friendly and have snacks available for late-nite munching (cookies, popcorn, etc.). The accomodations were very comfortable and quiet. We spent time on the large front porch and walking around the neighborhood in the evening. The area is historic and safe.

Owner John and his wife Pamela are very kind.
Just arrived and they are calling which restaurants are open that day.
They print routes, help you with everything.
After a very good night sleep (beds are great) the biggest surprise comes: breakfast!!
I'll tell you nothing: go there and be surprised!!!

The hosts were very nice and knowledgeable of the area. We stayed in Fiona's room on the first floor and it was very nice. The breakfasts were delicious, with a different menu each morning. This was our first time at a B&B and it was a wonderful experience. If you come to stay in Statesville, be sure to try a hot air balloon ride at Big Oh! Balloons, which is just a few miles from the Kerr House. Also, be sure to have dinner at Mayo's Ristorante.

We stayed in the historic Kerr House in June 2009. The property is very impressive and well maintained. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and decorated with great care. Our hosts were very hospitable and personable, we got a lot of attention and really felt at home. The breakfast was simply delicious and plentiful too. There are free soft drinks and snacks available for the guests, as is wi-fi. Parking is very convenient at the back of the house.

This bed and breakfast is a gem. We have stayed 7 nights and have now booked a further two as we were delighted with the way Pam and John went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. The Kerr House is a beautiful property, very clean offering a great breakfast and really friendly company.
