“Absolutely the WORST place I've stayed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2010

I had a hard time finding a hotel in the Fort Bragg area that would allow pets and was thankful to finally find one but... the place was an abomination. We would have been better of camping out for the night. I can understand a hotel room that has seen better days, ripped carpet, peeling wallpaper, what ever, but this place has serious issues. There was vomit down the side of my bed, blood on the wall, semen on the chairs. I could go on and on. DO yourself a favor and DON'T ever stay there.

“They should shut this hotel down its so bad...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 August 2010

I came to visit my brother who just got back from Afghanistan and picked this place to stay. My brother, mom, and stepdad also met up with us and we decided on this establishment. We picked up a suite with 2 rooms adjoined that came with 4 beds, 2 tv's, a couch, stove, and refrigerator. For the price we paid I expected more. The rooms were seriously outdated and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The pillows felt like shirts sewn together and filled with styrofoam. After laying in the bed and unable to fall asleep the whole night, one of my brothers and myself had bite marks all over our bodies. The only thing I can think of is possible bed bug infestation in the mattress. My brothers and I went down to the breakfast area for our "free" breakfast which is served from 6 a.m. - 9.am. There weren't even eggs for breakfast just little debbie muffins, bear claws, and little cereal boxes. The juices didn't even taste like juice. Overall, this was a very terrible hotel. I wouldn't even recommend a person I didn't like to stay here...

“Home away from Home.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2010

My husband is working at Ft. Bragg. The kids and I went to stay with him for a few weeks. The Staff was like having an extended family. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed out stay. The TV in the room did not have the ports in it for an electronic to plug in. The front desk had the maintenance men check into it and they actually brought an additional TV for us so my children had more to do. The front desk women all knew my children and said hello everytime we came and went. All the customers were treated like that. The housekeeper was phenomenal! She was very friendly and made our family feel very comfortable. Any concern I had was handled very very quickly. The price is affordable and you can't beat the hospitality. Kids loved the balcony that you can actually go out on and sit. The kitchen helps save you money. They have dishes with pots and pans so you can make dinner in the room. I will stay here anytime we travel there.

“OMG . . . this was AWFUL”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 April 2008

I had read several reviews on websites about this hotel and received more good information than bad. The worst comment was regarding the age of this establishment. Well, let me tell you, age is not the only issue. It is in an area that if I was traveling with Children or without my spouse I would have kept on driving. The hotel itself was fairly clean, but the walls in our bathroom were being held together with the old mildewed wallpaper, plus the walls are PAPER thin. I could hear the person in the next room using the restroom all evening along with his extra activities. I was awakened all night by doors slamming, loud conversations and running throughout the hallways. Since I was uncomfortable about the area I didn't approach or ask anyone to be quieter. The next day, I went to the front desk to ask for the Iron and blow dryer which were to be in my room and was told that they are stolen on a regular basis so we don't have them. The only positive thing I do have to say is that the faculty of this establishment were very friendly and courtious, but not dressed professionally at all. We checked out after one night and was calling early that morning to find another hotel to place our head during our stay. If you are coming to see your Soldier at Fort Bragg - I suggest trying to stay at the Airborne Inn or the Landmark. Much better accomodations.

“For the Price it can't be beat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2007

I read the reviews before deciding to give them a try. For the price what more could people want. I've stayed in better more up to date with furniture bedding but I also paid dearly for the luxury. I felt I had lots of space for my child to play and we where not on top of each other. The room for the most part was very clean and again even in the most expensive rooms I've stayed in I still travel with my Lysol and other cleaners. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The housekeeper was excellent and I didn't see a problem in signing her sheet it was to protect her as well as the consumer when you have people that like to complain. The hall way was hot but it was near the laundry room and that was not the only way to get to your room. Thank you and your staff for a nice visit and I will use them again for future stays.
