I had read several reviews on websites about this hotel and received more good information than bad. The worst comment was regarding the age of this establishment. Well, let me tell you, age is not the only issue. It is in an area that if I was traveling with Children or without my spouse I would have kept on driving. The hotel itself was fairly clean, but the walls in our bathroom were being held together with the old mildewed wallpaper, plus the walls are PAPER thin. I could hear the person in the next room using the restroom all evening along with his extra activities. I was awakened all night by doors slamming, loud conversations and running throughout the hallways. Since I was uncomfortable about the area I didn't approach or ask anyone to be quieter. The next day, I went to the front desk to ask for the Iron and blow dryer which were to be in my room and was told that they are stolen on a regular basis so we don't have them. The only positive thing I do have to say is that the faculty of this establishment were very friendly and courtious, but not dressed professionally at all. We checked out after one night and was calling early that morning to find another hotel to place our head during our stay. If you are coming to see your Soldier at Fort Bragg - I suggest trying to stay at the Airborne Inn or the Landmark. Much better accomodations.

I read the reviews before deciding to give them a try. For the price what more could people want. I've stayed in better more up to date with furniture bedding but I also paid dearly for the luxury. I felt I had lots of space for my child to play and we where not on top of each other. The room for the most part was very clean and again even in the most expensive rooms I've stayed in I still travel with my Lysol and other cleaners. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The housekeeper was excellent and I didn't see a problem in signing her sheet it was to protect her as well as the consumer when you have people that like to complain. The hall way was hot but it was near the laundry room and that was not the only way to get to your room. Thank you and your staff for a nice visit and I will use them again for future stays.

For the price this place can't be beat. It is not the greatest hotel I ever stayed in but it is far from the worst. The first thing that I noticed is that it seems to be an older property. The room was very large, plenty of space, and the balcony was fine although there isn't much to look at. Everything you need is located right near the hotel and if you are visiting someone at Fort Bragg it is very close by and easy to get in and out of. The free breakfast was good, bagels, some pastry, hot and cold cereals, and the like. There is a computer in the lobby you can use although it is a bit dated and somewhat slow. The staff was excellent and that alone makes it worth the price. Very friendly and took care of anything I needed very quickly. I had no problems and would stay there again in a minute. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay this is it. I've read another review about the property and did not encounter any problems. As I said, it is an older property but it was still comfortable and the staff was great. On a final note, they have an indoor pool which is small but still works if you are looking to take a quick dip and cool off.

  • Liked — The staff
  • Disliked — It was an older property and the furniture could be replaced in some cases

The hotel was absolutely filthy. There was semen on the bedspread, blanket , mattress and sheets. Furniture was also filthy. The floors were not clean,....your shoes stuck to the floor. To feel safe in this location, we had to also place and chair and our luggage since there was an incident outside our hotel room door. Expedia also charged more than if you checked in off the street. Do not recommend that anyone stay there.
