A colleague and I stayed at this hotel on business. We chaeked in late and I believe her name was Cheryl at the fron desk. She was very courteous and helpful checking in. We asked for recommendations for dinner as we wanted some sea food. She recommended Mr. P's which was just down the street. My room was clean but there was a ticking noise in the bathroom that sounded like rain hitting the fan. It keot me up all night! Do nto stay in room 216! The breakfast the next morning was OK. Everything was OK and tasted good.

Used the motel as a base for some local work. The hotel was being painted but we were able to access all parts of the motel when we needed to. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Would have been nice to have a listing of the channels offered on the T.V.

Our experience with customer service was stellar. Any issue or question we had was addressed professionally. Super friendly service, very clean rooms (we left a tip for the housekeeper) Thank you for making us feel like family. +++AAAAA+++ Rating. BTW- They also directed us to the best Carolina barbecue we'd ever tasted. That in itself is reason to recommend this hotel. * Note: Manager Eleanor was stellar in her response to our needs. Former reviewers who griped about the "humidity" should be ignored. HELLO, it's NC in the summer, of course it's going to be humid. SHEESH!

The rooms were very well maintained and the staff was friendly but for some reason all three times I've stayed in this hotel the rooms are so humid. No matter how you set the thermostat or anythig else you feel sticky.
