I have traveled all over the world, and have gotten some great and some not so great places.
This hotel was the worst I've been in. The room was dirty, had graffiti on the walls.
The linen was stained. Where the bathroom mirror used to be, there was just a clean rectangle on the dirty door. The coffee maker was broken. There was no clock.
The service was terrible, and all the staff looked shell shocked whenever you asked them anything, but didn't do anything about it.
At 230 in the morning the toilet started gurgling, woke us up, then continued for 3 hours until it exploded all over the room. We ran out with all our stuff at 530am, and the response at the counter was, “Sorry about the mess, housekeeping doesn’t get here until 9. Oh, and can you shut off the water?”
I tried to check out and the woman at the desk kept ignoring me, it was the single worst hotel experience I have ever had!
I tried to get some help at the desk for a very long time, but the staff kept ducking away from me.

We left, without brushing our teeth or getting showers... it was gross

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and had we not paid a lot for our golf school we probably would have gone elsewhere. This is a place running on a shoe string, 2 towels to a room, cracked tile all around the pool. It was in general disrepair. Out of coffee in the breakfast room 2 mornings out of 4. Lackluster breakfast, except for the waffles. Everything was dated. If you do need to stay here, request a room in the back, otherwise you will hear the traffic on Highway 1.

I made our reservations on-line and prepaid in order to get a special rate. Checked in on Monday and was disappointed there wasn't a refrigerator in the room - later found out that I could have had one if I had asked - and probably paid a fee - but I didn't... I went to get ice and the ice machine was not were it said it was on the location map. I walked around the property and still couldn't find one. i went back to the lobby and the clerk was checking in someone so I had to wait a full 10 minutes before she could get to me. She was the only person there. She went to the kitchen and got me a bucket of ice and said there was a machine on the second floor at the back of the building, if I needed more. This didn't make me a happy customer. The HBO had trouble one day - all day - due to weather and it effected serveral other channels. There wasn't a luggage rack in the room. Little things that tend to make a stay a little more plesant were lacking. They have a great buffet breakfast each morning. A very good value. Upon checking out, I discovered I had not been given my original rate and the clerk said I was given the hotel reservation rate rather than the on-line rate. After bringing this to his attention he did credit my account with the correct amount. He said he didn't have any way of knowing what rate I had been quoted on my reservation. This sounds like a management snafu. This place is probably okay for guys on the road working construction, etc...because I did see a lot of them there but I will pay the extra few dollars next time and stay somewhere where I don't have to "hunt" for ice and don't have to have my suitcase on the floor. Location was very good to get to everything in the area and it was relatively a quiet place.

The sheets had some sort of odd brown swirl on one side...
