On our way home from visiting up north we stopped for the night at the Quality Inn, Selma, NC. We stayed there because of the recommendation of a friend who was impressed on how lovely their newly renovated room was. We should have requested that same room number. The clerk that checked us in was rude. Our room appeared to be clean but the furniture was old and the bathroom needed a lot of work. It was only for one night, the price was cheap and you get what you pay for. We were not the only occupants of the room that night. In the middle of the night we discovered roaches on the bathroom counter, it appears they were living behind the coffee maker near the wall. Didn't sleep well after that and we were gone extra early in the morning. Quality Inn, spend some money and get a pest control company.
