“I would stay again....only if absolutely neccessary”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2011

I was passing through on my way home from a lengthy trip and stayed at this QI. I was dissappointed. The hotel was nearly booked due to construction and electrical line workers there for Hurricane Irene. I was not upset because I had to take a smoking room, but I did get a little irritated because of the fact I had to sign ( what nearly seemed like a blood oath) stating I did not have a pet with me. Then in the room there were warnings posted regarding the high penalty for lying about having a pet. There was also a note regarding "stealing towels" and a price list in case you wanted to purchase one. What? Why would you purhcase a used towel or lie about traveling with a pet? What ever happened to trusting your clientele? The room, while appreaing very clean, smelled like dirty feet. The bathroom fixtures were yellowed and the coffee pot was not clean. ( It had a fing in it from old coffee). I would stay again - but only out of neccesity.

“Staff nice. Room filthy!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 August 2011

I stayed at this hotel on my way South. I was traveling with my dog and not many places on I-95 accept pets. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer. Seeing I was traveling alone they made a special point of keeping my room close to the front of the motel. When I went into my room my first impression was that it hadn't been updated since the 80's. Everything was old. It was also blazing hot in the room. Seems as though the air conditioner hadn't been turned on in weeks. I turned on the A/C and turned on some lights. The room was not as clean as I had hoped. Later when I went to use the bathroom I realized the room was filthy! There were dead crickets all over the bathroom floor and the shower was so disgusting I wouldn't go near it. Had I not just traveled for 7 hours in heavy, heavy traffic. I would have packed up myself and my dog and moved on. I figured I could muscle through. I should have complained to the front desk, I didn't want to start moving rooms. When I went to get into bed that night, the sheet was stained! GROSS!!!!! I slept on top of the sheet and got out of the hotel the next morning. I won't make the mistake of stopping there. Too old and sketchy.
YUCK!

“Good stop over”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 July 2011

Our regular hotel was booked so we stayed here instead. It was a good stop over. Rooms are outdated but clean. We traveled with 5 and a dog. Room had 2 queen beds and fit a cot comfortably. It had outside corridors and it was very quiet. Room came with microwave, fridge and coffeemaker. This hotel is near the outlets and lots of restaurants. It is right off I95 and you do not hear any traffic I would stay here again.

“Great Motel, unbeatable value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2011

We stayed here for 1 night on our way along I-95. What a great surprise.... 2 terrific, spacious, comfortable adjoining rooms for a bargain price. We also had free, fast wi-fi and a basic breakfast included. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend this motel for all types of travellers... would probably even satisfy 5 star travellers!

“Nice Overnight Stop”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2010

My family and friends stayed at the Quality Inn Selma NC one night on our way to Myrtle Beach in August, 2010. We found this hotel to be nice and the staff was very friendly. I recently read an August 2010 review which mentioned bed bugs, however we found no signs of bed bugs and I looked thoroughly. This is an older hotel but it was quite clean. Could stand to update the beds, they were a little too soft.
