Clean 80s style rooms. Big but with cramped bathroom. Shower over tub with curtain. Bed firm. Wall air con is loud. Staff nice. Breakfast good. 7/10.

We found this motel after drving into Tanunda. Great little place to lay our heads for a few night. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Friendly front staff. Good value. I would love to go back and explore the area more. Rent bikes! Only thing is the restaurants close very early in the evening.

Hopped off the Ghan in Adelaide and stayed with the kids for 1 night. Next day headed for the Barossa Motor Lodge, for 2 nights, having booked it over the net.
Staff were great when we arrived and helpfull. Room was big and well furnished and very clean - excellent facilities. Went to the restaurant for dinner and what a find. Walked in and saw 2 other tables occupied, thought "oh no". Big mistake - hubby behind the bar and wife cooking in kitchen - excellent food, service and hospitality.
Breakfast next morning - hubby cooking and the wife having a well deserved rest - again great food cooked well and served well.
At all times we felt like we were welcome and the rooms had back and front outdoor areas so you can relax any time of the day.

We stayed at the Motor Lodge for three nights with the soul pupose of exploring the vineyard. From the roadway the place looks a bit run down. But the rooms are large and have everything you need. The staff are more then helpfull and the place is quite. The location is also a plus with a five minute walk into the shopping area of Tanunda where there are a number of good restaurants. The neqarest wineries are a minute or two by car. Great value place will stay there again.
