I was a little disappointed with this place which we went to for a function with friends.

Firstly, we were told upon our arrival that we couldn't check in until 4pm. This was after a very early morning flight and then a 2hr drive from Adelaide. We were very tired and sorry to hear this, so we occupied ourselves elsewhere. When we asked at 4pm to check in, were told that check in was at 4:30pm. However, after a little convincing we got into our room.

Our room was clean but we weren't aware that there was no ensuite. For $300/night ($150 per person - minus $60 because dinner was provided for us...) I just expected it, i guess. The bathrooms were a little run down with patching on the walls and black mould in the showers. The toilettries provided were quite average. Towels were also very scratchy and toilet paper was one-ply.

It was also very cold in the entire building. I needed to wear my jacket at dinner and going to the toilet was VERY cold.

Breakfast was average and served at 8:30am. Check out was at 10:30am.

Apart from all of that, while some of the staff seemed lovley, the ones in charge were rather brisque. I heard one telling off another guest during dinner. I felt like a nuisance for staying in their hall.
