Surrounded by vineyards with new growth on all the vines, our 'Residence' was beautifully appointed. Everything we wanted for our 2 nights was there. Relaxing in the spa before bed guaranteed a great nights sleep.

It is on a main road (in a quiet area) so there was occasionally some traffic noise. It wouldn't stop me going back there though.

Definitely recommend Barossa Shiraz Estate for convenience without being in the centre of town. Its 1.7km from Lyndoch town centre.

We stayed in the LOFT for 2 nights in September, and it was a very pleasant stay! The villa was spacious, with more than enough room for my husband and me. The kitchen was very well equipped, there was a huge walk-in closet where we stored our suitcases, and a washer/dryer machine was available to use. The most memorable aspect was the views of the vineyards just outside the windows of the main living area (unfortunately, from the bedroom window all we could see was our car in the designated parking spot). Also, if you highly value clean accommodations, you'll be happy to know that I couldn't find even one speck of dirt in the entire villa -- and I looked pretty hard!

All in all, I highly recommend the LOFT at Barossa Shiraz Estate.

Just returned from a beautiful week in The Residence. Provisions were plentiful and nicely replenished during our long stay. The lounge was fantastic in the evenings with big comfy furniture to relax on in front of the fire after having enjoyed a well needed soak in the spa tub. In summer months it would be nice to enjoy time on the front porch bbq'ing and watching the amazing sunsets. As for noise from the other units, we could not hear a thing. We were shocked to learn we even had neighbors. The location is perfect for access to Lyndoch. It is a quick drive or nice 25 minute walk and the BSE even provides a torch to keep you safe on the way home. We stayed for the Barossa Gourmet weekend and were able to walk to 6 wineries.

Positives: The Residence is located in a beautiful vineyard - it is charming and spacious with ample breakfast supplies and a large spa bath. We received a friendly greeting on arrival and were shown around the property. We had some great pizzas at Cafe Y which is a short drive away.

Negatives: We would suggest some attention to detail would help the property realize its full potential - the bed was not as comfortable as one would expect and the cheap crockery and dusty plastic flowers do not match the charm of the property. Noise from guests in the adjoining accommodation was also a bit intrusive.
