Were back! - or at least we were, I raved about you back in 2009 and I will do it again. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It took us a couple of years to save up to travel half way around the world to visit our special place...Lyndoch Hill and once again you never let us down, We even got to stay in the same room to bring back old memories. Mr and Mrs Creed (I think your names are Mike and Mandy) made us so welcome and the staff, including the waiters and waitresses make you feel like family. We didn't book full board because there is so much to do in and around the Barossa Valley and in Adelaide in General, that we could not commit ourselves but were always asked if and when we wanted to eat at mealtimes. Having said that, the food at the Retreat is exquisite - my favourite being the Pork with chillie Jam and Black Sticky rice. Your Pavalova with fresh fruit and Jersey Cream is exquisite and to die for. It is without a doubt, the only time we will afford ourselves a true Al a Carte meal. We can eat pie and chips when We are at home. Our room was immaculate - just like before and we have every intention of coming back again. We will forgo our yearly trips in Europe so we can have a proper holiday in Oz every couple of years and yes, we will be back in Lyndoch Hill before you know it. It's not like home from home, it's better!
Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you again real soon.
Lots of love Anne Starns
