We stayed at Adder Rock in the July School Holidays an loved ever minute.
We were in a group with Adults, Teenagers and and young children and there was something for everyone.

Couldn't disagree more with the previous reviewer. We've stayed at Adder Rock a couple of times & plan to return again next month. It's a fantastic place for family camping, with shady sites close to the ocean and (on our last visit) a huge, safe, swimming lagoon on the beach. The cooking/washing/showering facilities are good too. The road is quite a way from the camp sites & we haven't heard any traffic noise. I can imagine it gets very busy & possibly noisy during school holidays but we've always found the other campers here, particularly groups of young men on fishing/surfing trips. to be incredibly courteous.

We arrived on a Friday moring at the campsite after booking at the council offices in Capalaba. We were showed on a map where our campsite would be prior to booking and it looked OK.
On arrival i saw that the campite was on the corner, and over the road from the diving lodge.The first night we only got to sleep after one o clock in the morning as the drunk people kept us awake. The second night was the same and after complaing to the ranger the noise stopped.After that we started to have a peaceful holiday. I cant understand why the council will have camping sites next to busy roads and lodges when people are trying to get away from the noise.So next time we will make sure that the sites are not close to roads or lodges.
