“Get what you pay for...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

For extremely road-weary travelers only. Don't look too closely at this motel's rooms, or expect any frills, or you will be sorely disappointed as were my husband and I were on our trip from FL to MA. Pay an extra $10-$15 at another hotel and get a much better stay.

Here's the breakdown....The king size bed was big, but not comfortable at all. My hubby says he "...would have been better off sleeping on the sidewalk." The bed linens looked stained (I'm hoping they were at least laundered). The bath mat looked as if it had not been laundered. The shower head was falling off the wall and there was mildew on the shower curtain and tub surround. There was very little counter space for toiletries in sink area. I can say that I did not see any bugs in the room...thank goodness!!!

There was no coffee maker, no refrigerator, nor a microwave in the room. The TV had very few channels and lousy reception. Noise from upstairs guests and parking lot traffic made for a poor night's sleep. There was not a working ice maker on the property.

The desk clerk/owner was difficult to understand because English was not his first language. He was unable to provide a reciept, since "the computer doesn't turn on until 8AM"...huh!?!

While this hotel was likely independently owned and operated, we will never stay at another Knight's Inn again and will advise everyone we know to do the same. Try to save a couple bucks and look what you get....

Room Tip: Courtside rooms are noisy from upstairs guests and parking lot traffic.

“WORSE STAY EVER”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 March 2011

Nothing was good about this stay. I was unable to understand the person who was checking my group in - apparently they weren't able to understand me either as it took at least six trips to either my room or the front office before we finally got settled in our correct rooms. When checking in there was a obvious prostitute that was complaining about being stiffed by one of her customers for services performed. There were cars and people moving outside all night long - apparently they rent the rooms by the hour. The rooms were filthy and very outdated. I will never stay in this place again.

“Roach Motel”

Never EVER stay there. It was a total nightmare. We stayed there to rest on our way home from our drive from our Florida vacation in '04. Beds felt like sleeping on a pile of tires. Floors were sticky from the filth. Bathroom walls were about to crumble from the mildew rot. Place was grimey. Let my luggage open by mistake. When got home, opened the luggage and a cockroach came flying out!!! Took a half hour to catch it. Called the hotel and they didn't care one bit, so wrote to the corporate HQ and they said there was nothing they could do since it is an independantly owned franchise location. Oh, forgot about the drug dealers out on the curbs at night too. If you value your life our your family's life then stay clear from this hotel location. All the other Days Inn we stayed at were good, so we were shocked at how horrible this place was.

  • Liked — absolutely nothing!!
  • Disliked — This place was even fit for a street bum to sleep in.

The stafff was wonderful, the hotel however was in really bad shape. The paint was peeling off the walls. Rust was plentiful, and we had our own special welcoming committee, a roach.
