For extremely road-weary travelers only. Don't look too closely at this motel's rooms, or expect any frills, or you will be sorely disappointed as were my husband and I were on our trip from FL to MA. Pay an extra $10-$15 at another hotel and get a much better stay.
Here's the breakdown....The king size bed was big, but not comfortable at all. My hubby says he "...would have been better off sleeping on the sidewalk." The bed linens looked stained (I'm hoping they were at least laundered). The bath mat looked as if it had not been laundered. The shower head was falling off the wall and there was mildew on the shower curtain and tub surround. There was very little counter space for toiletries in sink area. I can say that I did not see any bugs in the room...thank goodness!!!
There was no coffee maker, no refrigerator, nor a microwave in the room. The TV had very few channels and lousy reception. Noise from upstairs guests and parking lot traffic made for a poor night's sleep. There was not a working ice maker on the property.
The desk clerk/owner was difficult to understand because English was not his first language. He was unable to provide a reciept, since "the computer doesn't turn on until 8AM"...huh!?!
While this hotel was likely independently owned and operated, we will never stay at another Knight's Inn again and will advise everyone we know to do the same. Try to save a couple bucks and look what you get....
