“A good night of sleep”

We arrived in Gaspé around 9 pm after a long drive from Quebec city, so all we really wanted was a good meal and a good night of sleep.

Our room was OK, we paid 95 CAN... the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was OK I guess, the toilet wouldnt flush and the shower's drain didn`t work properly... but we were still able to use it.

If we were ever to go back I highly doubt we would stay there as there are other better accomodations but it's not a bad place at all, the highlight being their very good restaurant Terra Nova. No need to go out, the food is excellent !

One of the worst travelling experiences. Workers at hotel got drunk, and had a party outside my hotel window. At 4 am, went to complain about noise. Just received rude response from staff. At least an apology would have helped but that was unavailable also. Not good.

The Commandants is an indoor-corridor, modern, unpretty building set slightly above the main drag in Gaspe. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff is bilingual and attentive. The restaurant is good after a day in the spectacular scenery, though unremarkable if you're expecting some interesting French Quebeqois cuisine.
