This hotel was perfect for our party - three young girls from Glasgow.
The hotel is in a good location - near to the beach and nightlife. The rooms are satisfactory - and we had a lovely view from our balcony right over into the pool and horizon. Everything was clean and basic and you couldnt ask for much more. However the food was a little suspect but there are lots of restaurants which are cheap and really near.
We are very likely to return in the near future and I recommend it :)

Arrived at the clipper late at night with a very tired 10 year old, the reception is very nice but that hides the beast of the bedrooms which are shabby and the walls are paper thin was given a room for two people funny how there was three of us thou, but sorted out next day, very disturbing as we arrived at 1.30 in the morning hotel reception was full of what appeared to be club 18 - 30s for the german and italian youth club, a taste of things to come. Oh my god we never slept throu one single night as the noise and partying goes on until 6.30 in the morning, and it was very noisy. The food in the hotel was pretty basic, breakfast was terrible we ate once in the hotel and went out every day to eat. During the day round the pool was you guessed it noisy and with us having our ten year old daughter with us i was very scared to let her loose in the pool with all the hooligans throwing each other in, unfortunatley we will not be returning to the clipper hotel as we needed another holiday just to get other the experinence.

Nice place but the beach is not particularly attractive

Rooms on the updated 1st floor were excellent the bathrooms were all new and the bedrooms spotless with air conditioning and new tv's. The food was as you would expect in Spain continental breakfast , evening meals had a huge selection of salads and 2meat dishes and 1 fish ,all fine .The staff are very friendly the pool area is clean around a medium sized pool with plenty of sun loungers , the views as anywhere in Lloret are of other hotels unless you are on the seafront but they have tried to landscape and make it easier on the eye . Communial areas are large and kept very clean the 2 bars are extremely cheap for a hotel bar 1 euro 50 for a bottle of Amstell or white wine spritzer most drinks seemed to be 1 euro 50. The main road next to the hotel causes no problems as you are the right side for all of Llorets ammenities so you dont have to cross it, no road noise could be heard from my room but ask for one overlooking the pool as the views into the courtyards are not in any way private. That is all the good but i have to warn you of one thing that may cause you a concern but we as single travellers had no problem with . We were just about the only English people in the hotel which actually suited us having witnessed many "Brits Abroad" the hotel was full of 16-20 year old Germans both sexes, they were obviously from good backgrounds and had very good manners but they are loud young adults who did make some noise very late at night- remember Lloret is renound for its nightlife and clubs stay open till 6 am - expect some noise.
