We where transfered from the Samba into Surf-Mar, due to Samba's pool being renovated.

I would like to thank the staff from both hotels for arranging the transfer, they made it pleasent and easy.

Found the facilities at the Surf-Mar very good, no complaints about the quality or selection of the food, the location of the hotel from the Fenals beach is directly across the road, the main bars and restaurents of Lloret are approx 20mins walk away (7euro in a taxi).

I though the outside areas ( swimming pool, sunbating area, crazy golf, full size basket ball court and 5-a-side football pitch and 2 tennis courts) where great.

Bar area was average, but excellently managed !!

Room - just your normal room, cleaned each day, but had a nice view from the balcony of the beach.

STAFF.
We found all the staff in this hotel where fantastic !! you always got a " hello" and you where always greeted with a smile. It was my wife' birthday when we where there, they reserved a table for us and helped me with getting a suprise birthday cake arranged. .. THANK-YOU !!

All in all, nice hotel with excellent staff , that helped to make a very enjoyable hoilday.

We stayed at the hotel three nights at the end of an holiday driving around the north of Spain. The location of the hotel was fantastic - just across the road from a nice, clean beach. We had not booked a parking space before arriving, so we ended up in the garage the first night, which was quite expensive. But the staff secured us a space in the outdook parking lot as soon as they had a vacancy the next day.
The room was OK, and the aircondition kept the temperature down.
The breakfast room was a bit crowded, but there was a lot to choose from on the buffet.
The hotel is about 20 min walk from the center of Lloret de Mar and you have to go up (and down) quite a steep hill. If you don't mind walking, like us, this is no problem. If you dont enjoy walking there is not too many restaurant to choose from close by.

I was surprised to see the bathroom with ooooooold equipment, that made loud sounds (I mean a bath, when you are taking a show). Beds were bad!))) really bad!...What do you think about...ANTS!)))) they also were there....Safe - we got a KEY -real key on shoelace))) always needed took it with us, and it was not small....food -we could not eat there - eat somewhere else (XALOS f.e. near the hotel)
Disco for old people from 8 pm up to 12 pm -we could not sleep, because audibility was on a high level)))) we heard everything what was happaned in the nearest room...

Dirty, bad catering, old furnitures, no maintenance, bad smell from toillet... the worst that your money can buy!!!... please, go to other hotel and you will enjoy !!!
