Stayed here for a week with friends and would totally recommend for a cheap getaway. The apartments are basic and no frills. Personally i found the beds a bit short (I'm 5"11) and the mattress a bit uncomfortable...but you get what you pay for!

Loved having easy access to the swimming pool - well maintained and cleaned daily.

We found the staff friendly and helpful. Happy to call us a taxi, directed us to the local supermarket (less than 5 minutes down the road) ....

We went after the summer break, so it was pretty quiet, but could imagine it could be quiet noisy during peak times.

Located a short distance from the main drag, and a ten minute walk to Fenals Beach (loverly).

We got a taxi from Girona airport to the apartments (46 euros) - cheaper and easier than paying for the rip off transfer fees you could end up paying with your low cost holiday booking.

just returned from one of the worst holidays in my life,although an extremely cheap apartment that does not excuse it being filthy,as said by the previous review(sept 10) we arrived by transfer bus which dropped us off at the fenal gardens hotel,the driver did not help with the cases off the bus and just grunted and pointed direction of hotel,after walking up and down streets finally found it,top of a very steep hill!!!! and loads of steps up to the reception,so after i had humped 2 cases a holdall, pushchair and a 2yo baby,i was not in a good mood,after the 50 euro deposit bombshell,i asked if there was any food available(9.30 pm)was told no,only pizza,so off we went to find our room,looked ok in the darkened lighting,went back and returned with 2 burnt pizzas,lush!! next morning ants crawling all over the place,luckily we took some insect spray and killed all the little mites,had to spray the room every night and morning for the whole week to keep them at bay,sheets had been changed but had an awfull smell,tv not working,just what you need when nothing goin on in place with a young daughter,after 4 days FINALLY tv fixed(4 days!!)never tried the food after the pizza experience and the filth of the place,but chicken burgers and chips seemed the call,and never many in snack bar,pool filthy,dead lizards on the bottom,never saw anyone cleaning it all week,no toilet rolls suppied not even one for the first night,staff very poor and every comment was"on by myself so cant help you at the moment"towels were changed once in the whole week,my young daughter has now returned home with a very ugly rash on her back,chest and cheeks,all i can think is it is off the bedding or the water(only ever drank bottled)to make matters worse there was not a lot going on in fenals with only the one bar having entertainment(robin hood)and no entertainment anywhere to keep a 2 1/2 child entertained,which meant a walk into lloret,which really was something i didnt want to have to do but it was our only option,so all in all,apartment(stay clear esp with young children)and i would not go to fenals again and could not recommend it to anyone with young children unless you want them to be bored out their skin,oh and the internet is slow slow slow,1 euro for 13 min and i managed to loads 2 pages in that time.

ok when you see cheap and cheerful on a review its what you expect when you arrive but my god, cheap can not discribe what we arrived to last week. and as for cheerful i dont think so. on arrival the bus dropped us of down the road with no directions of how to get to hotel..luckily it wasnt far from the hotel. then we arrived and told we had to pay €50 deposit per room and would get it back when leaving. we wernt showed to rooms and had to find them our selves, no information on where to get food as we arrived late, no help what so ever. we dropped bags in apartment which looked clean in the dark but when we woke up the next morning plus we had to make our own beds. there was ants everywhere, dirt under beds,sheets wernt clean it just seemed to be a complete kip. all the sun beds were broken, only 3 umbrellas for d whole apartment blocks, walls very thin could here everything from neighbours but was lucky as they were our friends we arrived with. it might sound like im picking out very small things but when all this adds up it kinda ruins your holiday. as for the staff they were the most ignorant and unhelpful people i have ever met in mu life and even if the hotel had been 5 star and unbelievable quality i would not return because of these staff..all in all worse holiday apartments i have ever stayed in and would not recommend it for people with children what so ever...so think before you book.pay the extra €20 for a better place we will next time.

We paid £12 per night for a one bed apt. The grounds are nicely maintained and the pool is clean and plenty of sunbeds. The apartment was basic but clean, kitchen with hob , fridge and microwave. TV had satellite english channels. Walls were thin you could hear loads of noise from other apartments but it was quiet at night. The location was great for us, away from the noise of lloret but 15 mins to walk to the centre. Really beautiful beach at Boardello 10 mins walk away. I would reccommend for a cheap short break but would not want to stay any longer than a few nights.
Note: alot of the maps of this place are incorrect, the hotel is located on Cm Santa Cristina in Fenals just off Avenue de Blanes, NOT in Santa Cristina.
