“Nice hotel shame though.”

Was a lovely hotel ,had a room overlooking the pool which was cleaned every day, the food well was a bit repetitive but if you like salads your sorted .Staff on reception could do with some lessons on smiling and a bit more customer care, bar staff were great very helpful always happy and smiling maybe they should work on reception. Pets are allowed in this hotel so beware when we were there they were everywhere yapping all day and all night in there little prams and with their frilly dresses on and where did they do their business ? i would like to know as some mornings going to breakfast the smell was just terrible enough to put you off so sometimes we popped down to THE RITZ just a few minutes away and the food was lovely and reasonabley priced. The entertainment was nothing to boast about sax+organist trying to sing gave us a laugh anyway,we were there for two weeks a week too long for me .OH and if you like your bed hard have a good sleep, and be down at the pool early as the towels go down at sun up,lol.

“Good but the staff on reception are very rude and argumentative!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2011

Arrived at the hotel expecting an apartment capable of holding up-to 4 adults, we were at 1st given a tiny room with 2 double beds, for 3 adults this was not satisfactory, we complained immediately and after an hours worth of arguing we were then given 2 identical rooms, this was a pretty good gesture but for the price this was at least what we expected, the pools/jacuzzi/bar area are all very clean and modern, the security guy with glasses thinks he is secret service and always nosing about and intimidating, the reception staff are very rude and speak very little English, on one occasion the reception staff wouldn't let my brother pass to reception to his room, even though he had stayed their 4 nights already she accused him of not staying at the hotel even though he had his room key card and she had taken his passport previously, maybe looking like a hippy didnt help lol

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2011

We stayed there with a group of cyclists , We were allowed to take our expensive bikes up to our room and place on the big balcony. We loved the food ,the pool and bar. There was animation at the hotel even in low saison. The staff was friendly and helpfull .Good bus an train connections te Barcelona.

“Full but not fullfilled”

my wife and myself go 3 times a year to spain with Siesta Holidays they are excellent. We paid around 450 pounds for the two of us.This was for 7 days breakfast afternoon & evening meal.Just on Its own Its a good deal but In with the price was wine & water with afternoon & evening meal. When we got there on 15th may there was only 3 other couples In the dining room the place was empty.Because of this I may not be giving the right kind of write up.There was not enough choice with the food but I can see that the hotel would not want to be throwing food away they are a business after all.The next day a coach arrived with the french for 5 days.Breakfast Is at 7-30 If you went down at 8-30 the fried eggs have gone hard and there was no more forthcoming. The staff In the dinning had a list and scribbled 2 persons off when we came down.I think It will be a lot better when the hotel Is full. There was tables for 2 or 4 but a silly idea for tablecloth the tables were say 60 mm wide but the cloth 40mm wide but hanging long to your knees every time you got up you nearly took all the cloth with you.The french had trips off every day so we had the pool almost to ourselves. The staff Im afraid looked dour and bored and I suppose I would be In their position. We went for our first drink when we got there knowing we were going to get ripped off because we went to a beach bar.A pint of beer In a very fancy glass 6.50 euros so 13 euros for 2 pints. The beach bars are almost always empty {surprise] you never see the same person In twice.the money for them Is the 18-30 that arrive all day by boat and get taken there by the rep im sure the rep will be on a nice wedge for that.A beer Is 3 euros In the hotel and you can pay 2.50 euros in the gardens overlooking the beach.Sun beds on the beach 5 euros so a couple 10 plus parasol makes It 15 euros. The Spanish cant see that to overcharge like that when the holiday booking time comes along they might just go to Turkey Instead.A bargin In May not so sure July & August.

“Disapoitment in Plaça Paris”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 April 2011

IT was with great pleasure that I arrived at this hotel .The weather was great and the region very impresive.. The hotel was clean and the staff kind of friendly . But when I asked for clean glasses two days later the lady reacted very hostile and angry. For a moment i thought that she would hit me with the dirty glasses. When my friend asked her for help because she lost an earring she told her that she can call the police.
The ladies at the dinning room are nice but one guest of my group changed the dinner for lunch and during dinner went to the room and took a small ice cream. The lady on charge of the room Instead of tellinf her in a nice manner that since she had change the dinner for lunch she had to pay for the small cup of ice cream. (and of course she would do that without hesitation) started scraming at her that she was taking advantage and abusing the hotel etc.etc .May be that they don't like americans but they are nicer to other guests, allowing them to take fruits out of the room and talking to them softer.
But I have to say that the gentlemen at the bar (Jordi, Sebastian and the others) all are fantastic, they are friendly, well behave and very helpful. They with Diana at the front desk and Antonio in the luggage room are the stars of the place. Mr, owner of the hotel take note!!
I will never again stay at this hotel
