The Santa Ana is said to be a hostal but to all intents, it is a hotel. It is located in the centre of town, several minutes walk north from the bus station. Easy check-in, with no deposit. Friendly staff. One small lift, sufficient for four adults. Clean, fair-sized room with two single beds. The room can get rather hot in summer but this is relieved by opening the door to the balcony. Most rooms have a balcony of reasonable size. Bath, shower with fixed head and toilet (and T.Paper). Towels changed daily, with maid service. Large wardrobe with plenty of real coat hangers. Free buffet breakfast with a large selection (10/10). TV area with Spanish channels only but always seems to be some football on at least one of them. A bar. Coin operated internet. Within minutes walk of shops and eating places as well as entertainment. Nice and quiet at night though a nearby school can mean it is a bit noisy for a few short times in the day time. Hotel closes late September.
