I went to Lloret for a friends 50th birthday but it was also mine while we were there.
I worked in Lloret in 1970 as a teenager and had never returned so wondered how I would find it.
We had 3 rooms, 2 doubles and a triple all overlooking the side street. The triple actually had 2 singles and a double so was really a quad. OK so space was limited but was still enough for us to manage sufficiently.
Bathroom was clean and big enough, pool area was small but in October was enough for the amount of guests staying. Maybe a bit cramped in July/Aug but I would think most time then would be spent on the beach.
Food- we went H/B but only ate dinner once, we are fussy though and I never wanted to book that anyway, breakfast was very good with a large choice.
The best thing is the location, it is a very short walk to shops, bars restaurants and the beach. It is right in the old town and I could have been back in 1970 in this area, very nostalgic. There was a square right outside that had a few bars and a childrens play area and was very popular with the locals.
The front and beach were lovely and had a few bars right on the beach which were great for our birhday champagne cocktails. Lots of friendly atmosphere from the waiters and the many stag and hen parties, no trouble just fun.
There are parts of the resort that is not my scene, like the amusement arcades etc but that can be avoided if its not what you want.
I LOVED Lloret as much as 40 years ago and will definatley return.
