We stayed for a week in July, booked rooms for my parents and then for hubby, kids (3 and 4) and myself!

We stayed half board, food was great vast selection at breakfast and evening meal, wine with evening meal and bubbly with breakfast if that floats your boat. An example of what was avaliable one evening, a huge salad selection, soup, 2 different types of potato, pork ,fish, chicken dishes, green beans, pasta and 2 or 3 sauces to put over, 3 different cheeses, puddings were ice cream, jelly/trifle, cake, a selection of bread rolls, great choice there for our whole party.

Rooms we booked for a sea view and got exactly that, amazing position right on the beach with a pedestrian walk way between hotel and beach. Rooms not the biggest we had 2 singles and bunk beds, a fridge. air con we paid 15 euro deposit for control and got it back at end of hol parenst room didnt need contol all air con worked fine. The towels and bedding replaced daily, not complaints at all.

Staff friendly, helpful and very professional.

We didnt make it up to the spa part of the hotel, we spent a lot of time at the other hotels with out door pools (get there early if you want beds as many got towels put on them...........)

We took a trip to Barcelona caught bus from Lloret de mar bus station, much cheaper than the arranged trips provided from the hotel.

The beach is little stones not sand and steep into the sea, thats why we spent more time at the pools as bit too choppy and steep for our kids who are learning to swim at the moment.

This is def the quieter end of Lloret, better for young families and older parents!

This is our fourth time in Lloret and the second time at this hotel. The Hotel Maxim part of the Rosamar group is excellent value for money. We had a 5 day break for two adults and one child with half board which cost under £200 pounds.

The food is spanish based but there is always something you can eat (our ten year old had plenty to eat at every meal and children are normally the hardest to please). One thing we had not expected is that with lunch and dinner you were given free rose wine and water. The breakfast is mainly continental but there was always eggs, spanish style bacon and sausages. There is even sparkling wine provided for breakfast and people would make bucksfizz with this and the orange juice.

They seem to keep the same staff each year and they are extremely friendly. The hotel has mainly French and German guests but they where all very nice to us, being the only English in the hotel.

The rooms are basic but very clean and we had clean towels every day. We had a three person apartment so if you wanted to cook there was a small kitchen. The rooms and the hotel in
general were kept spotless by the cleaners.

The best part about our room was the fantastic view, waking up every morning to the sound of the sea splashing on the beach is great. Also in the evening you can sit on your balcony and watch the ships in the distance and watch people walking up and down the promenade.

Everything about this hotel never fails to impress us. We found great cheap flights from Bournemouth so it was a reasonably priced short break.. One other good thing about staying at this hotel is you can use the facilities of the other three Rosamar hotels which are all in easy walking distance, so you can enjoy the best of each one.
