On arrival we were upgraded to a gold room. The room was newly
Refurbished and clean and on the small side but not a problem for us.
We noticed walking around the amount of stairs. The resort is on a hill so your always climbing up or down to get places. Because we came in off season most the hotel bars were shut and as some bars dont accept all inclusive you end up having to go to the other side of the hotel to get a drink.
The food was acceptable if you like red meat and carbs for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Make sure you ask to see the drinks menu at the bar to see whats all Inc as you may be suprised. We made the mistake of not looking and missed out on some luxuries.
The spa is awful and very expensive for what it is, the gym is also awful and at 15£ a day a complete rip off... They couldn't even be bothered to turn the machines on. Very limited equipment. The spa pool is tiny.
The other pools around the complex are clean, cold and in our case ruined by students taking over eating, smoking, drinking and blaring out music by the pool and ruining our relaxing sunbathe. The students almost ran the place...everywhere you went they were there. Obviously not a permanent thing just unlucky for us.
Reading previous reports about the bar staff I was a little concerned but they are friendly enough they get you your drinks/snacks as asked but do make little conversation. We did find if we made the effort they did too.
In the restaurant area there was one English member of staff...Elaine I think...so friendly and excellent help with everything.
Overall we had a good holiday...a few more entertainment opportunities and less students it would have been great.

If you are british do NOT stay in this hotel, the staff were rude the rooms were very dirty and needed some mega work done on them. The pools were good, the food was unedible, i ate once there in the whole 4 days i was there it was that bad. Outside the hotel was fab and some brill nightlife if you are going with a group of mates. Def not some where you would take a family. Lloret De Mar is a fab place but whatever you do if you are british do not stay in this hotel (there are plenty of other hotels near by that people were saying were great.). I would like to say there was one member of staff that was a pool attendent who was FAB and could not do enough to help you, with regards to everyone else there, well what can i say.

Myself and five of my girlfriends age range 28-55 have just returned from 3 nts stay at this hotel, and I cant understand what everyone previously has been complaining about. This hotel is in a fantastic central location for bars, restaurants and shops. It is also very close to beach which was very clean and accessible from the hotel in a five minute walk.
We had two silver rooms in block 2 which were renevated in 2010 there was adequate space in them for 3 of us in each, they were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms are compact but had everything you needed it there and the shower was very powerful with gallons of hot water. The room was cleaned everyday but one. We stayed on all inclusive basis the food was of a good standard with plenty of choice. We went all inclusive for the alcohol basically and we can't complain because we had plenty of it.
Overall this hotel offerred good quality accomodation for a good price if you want five star accomodation and five star all inclusive packages you need to go to five start hotel in a far superior destination.
As for the staff they were pleasant enough, we would like to thank Suzanne the quality manager for approaching us and asking for our feedback, and thanks for being so accomodating for the late room checkouts. We would definately consider staying at this hotel again for a short break and cant find anything significant to complain about except it rained one day.
