This is a cheap hotel, dont bother taking much notice of the reviews from american tourists, they always expect far too much!

This is an old villa, and is decorated and furnished in this style, we thought it was lovely, quiet and the room was very spacious. The balcony alone was around 20 feet by 10 feet!

It is not for the elderly, you do have to walk down a lot of steps to get to the seafront, the walk back up sobers you up though! but the pool is lovely. and if you go out towards the main road, the hills dont seem too bad. (also, if you go out this way, the restaurants are cheaper. They get more expensive as you get closer to the sea.)

We loved it, and are planning to return next year.

This hotel is in need of serious updating! The pool and gardens are lovely and very well maintained but the inside is a different storey. The rooms are shabby and quite run down. Very old-fashioned. Over 200 steep steps down to the town, beach etc. which is not mentioned on their website. Quite misleading website. Nicer 4* hotels in Lloret

We found that the place needs renovations and the price for dinners and especially for breakfast was over-priced. There is no justification for 12 euros for breakfast. We went to the Orient Express for a great breakfast at a reasonable price.
The staff were helpful and when we had a problem with our vehicle we had a staf member who was extremely helpful.
The carpets need replacing and perhaps changed to tiles. There is no information about meals available or prices or any faclities and it would be helpful to have an information sheet (in various languages) in the room.
But even with these problems, the rooms were always spotlessly cleaned each day and the sheets and towels were fresh and large. The staff at the front desk were all so helpful, especially at trying to understand the Spanish/French/English mess which we would use.
In general, it could have been better, but again, it could have been a lot worse, and the view was unparelled.
