Could not fault the hotel. Rated as 3* it was spotless, comfortable and served an excellent buffet breakfast. Well located near the charming old town streets of Trapani and the train station. A complimentary bottle of Prosecco was, brought to our room which was a delighful surprise. Sadly Sicily did not provide us with the best of its weather and we found that 3nts in the local area was perhaps a bit too long. If Trapani wants to improve it's tourist service more detailed information about opening times etc. of sights needs to be available. However, it may be very busy in the Summer and such information more readily available?

After a less than welcoming greeting on arrival after midnight, "Name. Passport." we found a decent room and, next morning, a pleasant breakfast area. The short walking distance to the bus station (almost hidden behind the railway station) and the old town is a great advantage.

Albergo Vittoria has an ideal situation, 5 or 10 minutes walk from the bus and train station, and very convenient for the city centre as well. The proximity to the bus station is an advantage if you want to visit Segesta or Erice, both of which I would recommend. The rooms of the Vittoria are comfortable, the bathroom is clean and the maid service is excellent. The area around the hotel is quite quiet at night, so there is no problem sleeping.
We also found a great pizzeria/restaurant called Miei Amici on the seafront not far from the hotel, towards the centre. The restaurant has outdoor seating, a good buzzy atmosphere and tasty inexpensive food ( a shared pasta starter, a shared pizza and a couple of drinks came to about 25 euro, and we certainly didn't go hungry)

We only stayed one night here. Rooms are a little dated but large and clean with free wifi. Bathrooms are modern and clean. Breakfast is fantastic - large selection provided. Hotel is well located with lots of free parking and it is a short walk to the main centre. Unfortunately we got bitten lots by mosquitoes and hotel would benefit from providing coils/anti repellent in the rooms. Apart from that had a great stay here.
