We went to Trapani without any knowledge of the city, but got instant help from Mario, our wonderful host at San Francesco Residence. We had a fantastic week, and this little residence was clean, friendly, priceworthy and had big generous rooms.

This is a pleasant, charming place several blocks up from the busy port area. The room was comfortable, clean, and not cramped, complete with a kitchen (though it was not to be used by B & B guests). Desk personnel and wait staff at breakfast were polite and friendly. Parking near the hotel was difficult to find, the streets in the neighborhood being very tight. Breakfast was plentiful and served on the top floor.

Clean spacious room, good location, no reason to complain.

Our room was great, very large and clear, more an apartment than a room.

The staff was not always helpful, especially with using the free wi-fi that we actually never have been able to use.

The breakfast was very ordinary: no meat, no cheese, only sweets.

However, the hotel is very centrally located in beatiful Trapani.
