I have stayed at this interchange in past years and it looks as other hotel choices have become abit rundown and sketchy. The Best Western is just a little further down from the on/off ramps, quiet, clean and reasonably priced. Rooms look to be updated with very comfortable beds, spacious room and nice amenities of a small refrigerator and microwave. You can walk across the road to the Waffle House, but the complimentary breakfast was good with hot choices of oatmeal, waffles and breakfast sandwiches. Along with Danishes, breads, cereals, and fruit, we were satisfied to eat there for breakfast.

We were looking for a pet-friendly hotel after a long drive. All we wanted to do was get off the road and get something to eat and then curl into our beds and sleep. This hotel was simply amazing. It was better than we imagined it would be. The pet-friendly room was directly accross from the dog walk area. They supply little pet waste bags and a trash can to toss your used bags into, so the pet area stays perfectly clean. The Denny's is right next door, and you can walk to it. It feels safe at night to be walking back and forth between the hotel and restaurant. Rooms are quiet, even though we knew that the neighboring rooms also had pets...we never heard a single bark or anything. What a wonderful hotel. They have a pool, but it was a little too chilly to think about swimming. I could see it being taken care of, though, so I'm sure it's a gem during the warmer months of the year. :)

Needed a stop over on way to Ocracoke Island. Dog friendly. Great field for Fido. Poop bags and disposal can. Room was clean and more than adequate.comfortable beds. Denny's next door. Quiet parking lot. No loitering. Not afraid to leave fishing gear on truck. Park in front of room. This is not the Ritz. Less than $100. with dog.Room had microwave and mini fridge. Friendly, helpful staff.2 thumbs and 1 paw up! Just what we needed.

This Best Western is very OK. The staff was generally very nice (although the tip jar at the breakfast is a bit off-putting). The room had a very comfortable king sized bed, but it seemed to have a lot of bare walls, making for a very "boring" room. The bathroom was fine, just a bit outdated. For $10 more, we stayed in Florence SC Best Western and got a whole lot more from the room.
