This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The pool was freezing cold. Had to switch rooms 3 times until I had a room with a working ac. The staff could have made this better stay but they chose not too. However , the hotel was conviently located next to 95. That's the only positive thing about my stay there .

I wish to congratulate all the staff at Rocky Mount Courtyard on their jobs well done.
I found my visit pleasurable, relaxing and inviting. Everyone there was pleasant and helpful . Most of my traveling is for business, this trip was a personal get away. I found the accommodations to be well kept clean and inviting. Thank you all for the pleasurable experience in Rocky Mount . Kudos!!!!!!!

The manager called me and apologized for her employee's behavior and lack of professionalism. She told me that Talisha will have to be written up on her permanent record. She also told me that she will address this situation at the weekly meeting with all employees. Apparently, there were other factors on this particular day with employees not working when they should of, people coming in late and other staffing issues which put all check-ins later than usual. She offered me a settlement and promise that it will never happen again. I may consider trying this hotel again if we ever stay in Rocky Mount but would inform the manager of my reservation as a heads up. Try it yourself and hopefully you will have a better experience than I did.

We stopped in at this hotel both on the way to Florida and the way back because we knew it was a safe area. This hotel is located about a mile from 95. This courtyard was even better than the one where we stayed in Orlando. It was clean and spacious offering a fridge, microwave, flat screen tv and dvd player. We didn't stay for breakfast but we did use the pool which was great. We will not be staying anywhere else when passing through here again. They even had nighttime security carts going through the parking lots.
