First and Foremost I enjoyed my stay there but there was so many eye opening matters that shocked me beyond! We stayed on 2nd floor the first stay there, the room was comfortable, some items in the room need to be updated but the bedding (covers) were horrible, who wants a 5lb cover on them at night. Bad idea about them top covers. I watched the housekeeper make the bed she has to pull, tug unzip etc just to get the thing right! Take them off the beds. One morning we checked out but still loading out truck, I went back up stairs to the room and the Supervisor over housekeeping was in our room, which shocked me! She tried to convience me that she was checking the refrigerator but isnt that the housekeepers job? 6 days later we came back through NC and stopped at CS again. 3rd floor is where we called home for a cpl of days. The room was clean, same decor from 2nd floor, as we decided to go take a swim, I spoked to the GM Tom is his name, what a rude and very unproffesional person! The front desk staff was nice and the young lady Erica was a pleasure to talk to. Our swim was pleasent, and there again the next morning the same lady was going through the rooms at 8 15am, We always leave a few dollers for our housekeeper,(i just didnt feel safe knowing the housekeeping supervisor goes through our rooms! I once was a housekeeper so I know how unappreciated they are by guests and the staff at motels. I left my tip down stairs at the front desk for the housekeeper on 3rd floor. I sure hope she got it. We will stop there again.

Staff is unprofessional, never at front desk. One girl with large nails is always on the phone.

I dropped my laundry off on a Friday at 7:30 am and it was returned to me on Saturday at 7 pm. However, the laundry was never done. They kept it in the back and never sent it to the cleaners.

Finally, my room was never cleaned. There are other hotels in the area, a holiday inn is supposed to be built sometime. Do not stay here...

As a business traveler, I expect the front desk staff to be somewhat professional. The front desk was frequently empty as the clerk was outside smoking so the phone didn't get answered. My room had 2 bugs which I reported to the front desk. The laundry room was next door to my room and it was very loud with a guest doing laundry at 11:30pm. I called the front desk to see if there were quiet hours and the clerk stated "No, it's a public laundry". So, there was no recourse for other inconsiderate guests. The computer and printer was down the last night of my stay so the bill had to be emailed to me. Beware that there was a very limited menu at breakfast. I say, stay away and hope that the new hotel near the hospital is opened the next time you need a room in this town.

I stayed here for three weeks and tried to look at the good but the bad was just to much for me.
1)They constantly tried to overcharge me, I had made reservations for 89.99 and they would always give me a bill 20 to 50 dollars higher. once I brought it to there attention they corrected it.. it was a hastle going back 3 or 4 times to get it corrected.
2)the pool was dirty and even if you wanted to get in it I think it was open to the
surrounding community. It was always too crowded. so was suana exercise room and whirl pool. doors were left open so people could come off the street and go swimming.
3)the first week I checked in, my air conditioner did not work and neither did my remote. it took me complaining alot to be moved.
4)my wife did not feel comfortable riding the elevator with some of the people in the hotel
5 the desk clerks acted like they were too busy to help you almost everytime I needed to talk to them. I was always nice to them?
6) the breakfast was good and so was the weds night mangers special. hard to mess up pizza
7) I stay at alot of hotels and this one did not feel safe. I do not think management or ownership has alot of experience running hotels or they just do not care.
8) they did get the wake up call right everytime
9) the rooms were nice & clean
