Decently priced HIE. I stayed in the king jacuzzi suite, a clean large suite with nice jacuzzi seperate shower a small wet bar with fridge, micro and typical coffee maker. Nice desk and a love seat for the seating area.
I've stayed here before and never had any trouble. No bugs, clean bath area and cool in summer and warm in winter.

Passing through Roanoke Rapids on an I-95 road trip went on Priceline to secure a cheap booking for the night and got a spot at Holiday Inn Express for $52.

Typical property - exactly what one can expect for this chain. Not a fine place, but does the job as a place to sleep.

Front desk staff are very nice, cordial, and efficient. Requested a non-smoking room. When we got to the room it smelled of smoke! The desk attendant was very apologetic and upgraded us to a Jr. Suite which was "above and beyond the call".

Received a nice clean comfortable room, friendly staff, good location from I-95 and a very good free breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an older Inn that is architecturally a bit dated... Pool noise on the west side, highway noise to the east... fine for a quick night off the road...
