Each time I stay here, it get's a little less attractive. This time, the lobby was filthy with food that had been spilled when I checked in and was never cleaned through my departure the following morning. Front desk service was still excellent and attentive, but the restaurant service was very slow.
Not bad and certainly not a bad deal given the price.

Stopped on our way down to Florida.. Convenient to I-95, friendly and welcoming front desk..Breakfast aw s free since I am Hilton Honors member..Room was nice size, bed comfy and modern room..Don't hesitate to stay here if passing thru this area

We chose this hotel an hour out on our iPad and with the help of TripAdvisor comments and it exceeded our expectations! Heading South, this Hilton is the 2nd exit of Roanoke Rapiods in a solitude area...very quiet!
The lobby has a fireplace and a bar with pristine indoor pool and jacuzzi. Our Senior Rate room was updated and clean. We had a drink and sat by the fire to read before adjourning for the evening. Breakfast was not included but great complimentary coffee which we grabbed on our way out. Staff was very welcoming. We have pinpointed this as the place to stay for us on our next trip south!

Stayed here based on positive reviews and it did not match up. The staff was friendly and the room was ok, typical HGI but the hallways and elevators smelled like a barn. Like someone had passed gas, everywhere. Ended up taking the stairs which smelled a little better. No idea if it's like that all the time, maybe it's the pets?

Biggest disapointment was the dinner. Ordered room service and nothing cooked to order but rather heated up leftovers, the worst HGI food to date and we've stayed at several of them. They are usually very good. As if they heated this stuff up over and over again. I had read a review that had a similar complaint about the food and wish I took it more seriously. Did not chance the breakfast. 3 stars only because they were very friendly and the room did not stink like the rest of the hotel did.
