Stayed at this hotel to visit Campbell Law. Overall, the stay was adequate, but it's not a fancy place. Negatives - scratchy sheeets, it's a bit outdated, and the bathroom was so tiny the door would barely close without hitting the toilet seat; signs of normal wear and tear are everywhere. Positives - location is excellent - walking distance to lots of fun restaurants, right down the street from NC State and across the street from Campbell Law; breakfast is good and relatively cheap; free cabled internet.

Overall, an adequate stay.

I'm not picky, but this hotel did not meet even my average expectations. Rooms need updating and better cleaning. The bathrooms are the size of cruise ship bathrooms- just enough room for a toilet and shower (the sink is outside the bathroom in a closet-type area). 3 out of 4 pillows on the beds were down, which I'm allergic to. I went to the front-desk to ask for non-down pillows (I always do this, never had a problem before) and was told they only have down pillows. Which of course isn't true because one of the pillows was polyester. The internet worked fine, although they don't have wireless. The garage was actually neat because you park anywhere along the 'funnel' and take the elevator to your floor...or simply park on what you think is your floor. lol. The restaurant was just ok...buffet style for breakfast. The location is great, but I would not stay here again.

I stayed here for a state licensure test. Rooms were huge. Parking was easy in the deck directly built into the building. Restaurant on the top was great for breakfast with an exceptional view to watch the sunrise and read the morning paper.
