I had a great stay...The overall service was great. The area was close to shopping and the major highways. Reasonable price

Beat up! Dirty! Dated...the carpet is from the previous Red Roof and that was at least a decade ago, clothes rack leaning and bent. A fresh coat of paint may help cover up the plaster work. The bathroom is stained yellow with more patchwork plaster. Cigarette burn holes in carpet and on furniture! A construction workers paradise. Loud...open door gatherings, idling of vehicles, beer drinking, cigarette and pot smoking!
THE BEST OF ALL...at check out my receipt was neatly folded and placed in my hand. Always look at your hotel receipt! This is one of those hotels that will add a safe charge!
When questioning the front desk manager I was told that it was a mandatory state legal requirement to charge for the safe. BULL! It is nothing more than a gimmick to collect extra cash to line the hotels pockets...folded receipt and all. STAY AWAY!!!

I stayed at this Days Inn on a Monday night. It is located right next to a Denny's just off I 440 and across street from a Duke hospital. The room was very clean and fresh smelling. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Bathroom clean, but very small. The breakfast offered was Ok with cereal, waffles, toast and muffins. Internet Wi-Fi was great with no interruptions. Rooms have refrigerator and microwave in them. I would have no problem staying at this Days Inn again. You are very near several assorted restaurants up and down Wake Forest Rd.
