“HELL ON EARTH”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2011

I stayed here for a few nights in December. It was quite possibly the worst experience of my life! I honestly would have just slept in my car had I known prior how atrocious this hellhole was.

For starters, the room was filthy. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Looked as-if it hadn't been cleaned in years. The lightbulb blew in my main-room upon turning it on. Numerous requests to management to replace the bulb went unanswered. I forced to use the light from TV to alluminate my room for the remainder of my stay.

The worst of all was the noise, loud noises all day and all night. Strange sadistic sounds next to my room. Sounded like someone dying very loudly. There where crackheads and prostitutes roaming aimlessly around the building all night. People banging on my door very loudly at all hours and screaming obcenities. My phone range atleast 5 times upon answering a stranger would sexually threaten me or breath heavly over the phone. It was truly a nightmare.

My family and I stayed here to visit family and friends. i must say it was a pleasant stay. We came across issues with our room, but the front desk clerk Tiffany was great at helping us without hassle. She made sure things were taken cared of and our stay remained pleasant. Overall, clean room, simple, and nice friendly knowledgeable staff. I would stay again..

“DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 November 2010 via mobile

Bedbugs, large roaches in room and outside stairwell. Nothing works properly in room, even after numerous requests to have fixed. Loud Rap music at all hours of night. Homeless, Drug Addicts and Prostitutes roam on the property at all hours. Welfare people live and hangout all day and night. If, you like your car broken into, this is the place for you. Upper Management does not give a dam nor does corporate. Pay alittle more and get a better environment down the road at Best Western.

My stay was unpleasant. There were guys hangin around the doors and hall ways. People were running in the halls at night and it sound like someone was fighting or running from someone. I received sexual harrassment calls to my room. Please do investigation @ LodgeAmerica on Capital Blvd. in Raleigh NC before it get worst...

“Do not consider this hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2009

Room smelled like old fried chicken...toilet overflowed for no reason and no one really seemed to care. After we got placed to a new room there were people wandering around without an apparent purpose. There was a fight that almost broke out and then there were disturbing noises coming from next door that sounded like a man beating a woman. Service was abysmal and the overall feeling of the hotel was creepy and unsafe. Pay the extra $5 - $10 and try to stay at the Best Western or Econolodge up the street.
