“Great Stay for an Excellent Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

I was in town to observe an amazing elementary school that was located close to this hotel. We had a very nice stay. The beds were VERY comfortable and the room was quiet (even though Taylor Swift fans were packing the place)! We didn't hear a single one of these pre-teen girls as they returned from their concert! The breakfast was our only disappointment - there was very little choice and what they had was not of great quality. The fruit was over ripe, sausage was dry, milk warm, etc... Over all a nice place to stay, just don't count on eatting from the breakfast bar.

“Perfect if you're going to a 'Canes game”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2011

I stayed here for three nights in October. I chose this hotel because it's within walking distance to the RBC Center, where the 'Canes play. (NC State football stadium is right there, too.) The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was a plus. Choice Hotels was running a 4X points promo at the time which was nice. Adjacent Backyard Bistro is a good choice for lunch or dinner.

“Very Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

Nothing special about this property. The room that I stayed in was large and had a small kitchenette area with sink, table, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Television was older 25" model. HBO went out on the second day of my four days in the hotel. I asked about it but it didn't get fixed and there was no explanation. My room key stopped working at noon everyday, so I had to get it reset everyday, which was a little inconvenient. I used the workout facility everyday. The equipment was lower-quality and a bit dated, but functional. Breakfast was the usual Comfort Suites fare, which is decent. Rooms were not the cleanest that I've seen and could use some updating, but they weren't terrible. The best part about it was the Backyard Bistro Restaurant only a few hundred feet away.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are very tsorry hat your experience at our hotel was less than satisfactory. We take your feedback very seriously. Consequesntly, we have recently upgraded many of the hotel features, amenities and service that we offer to discerning guests. These include brand new 42 " LCD television with high-definition programming, full hot breakfast bar which include a wide array of tasty and healthy options. We have expanded the bandwith of our Wi-Fi service to ensure that guests now enjoy multimedia without disruptions.

Our hotel also features one of the most popular venue to catch the latest sporting action - Backyard Bistro, which is located at the hotel entrance, where guests can enjoy cold beverages and excellent choice tasty entrees.

If you are attending a Carolina Hurricanes game, NC State Basketball or Football game, or catching a concert at the RBC Center, our location is across the road from the Arena complex, where you can walk without the hastle of spending valuable time in traffic and struggle to find parking.

You will be pleasantly surprised with our new look and ambience.
