I use to be a frequent guest at this hotel until two weeks ago. At one time this hotel was clean, quiet, and nice. To my surprise, during my last stay I noticed a quick decline in the quality of the hotel and some of the guests. I could not enjoy a good night's sleep due to noise being made by kids at 12:00 a.m. in the hallway. Where are the parents? I also tried to use the computer and the same kids were hoarding the computer. I don't know if this hotel is under new management, but it has truly changed, and not for the better. I felt like I was at a Motel 8. I'm truly disappointed, as I once enjoyed staying here.

Very quite and in a convient location just off US1. Breakfast was just ok - needs some work to make it worth stopping by for.

Pros - Clean; Free breakfast and parking; Not many other hotels in area.
Cons - Cleaning staff yelling down hallways at one another; Average service; Not very inviting; Not worth 15000 points for free night

I have stayed here twice and each time I have had nothing but nice things to say about this place. Friendly staff, very comfortable beds, great shower head, and overall nice rooms. My one complaint would be GETTING TO THE HOTEL!. I was told the city of Raleigh won't allow them to put up signs, but they have got to do a better job at telling people how to get there. My GPS took me all the way through the neighborhood next door and then by the time I got to the hotel, there was a tiny sign saying Holiday Inn Express Hotel...

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, anytime. Just hope they can find it.
