I was pleasantly surprised by this Comfort Suites. It seems very new, and was very contemporary in its furnishings. The rooms and bed were comfortable and rooms included a sofa, refrigerator and microwave. Free wireless internets in your room as well as the lobby made this a great choice for a business traveler.

Breakfast was complimentary in the lobby, and included waffles, and hard boiled eggs which made it great to get some proteing for breakfast.

About 2 miles away are a number of restaurants including Chilis, Applebees and other chains.

In the evening, after 7, is was difficult to find parking in the hotel lot as a church meets in the banquet rooms several nights a week.

I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk offered me a free upgrade to a king suite upon check in. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The only down side was the small workout room. It was hot, the bike tension didn't work, but weights and treadmill were fine and the TV was a great size.

We checked in here spur of the moment while visiting Raleigh.
It is not a "real" suite because the rooms aren't divided. We were hoping for that because of having 2 preschoolers with us.
For $90 (with AAA rate), we had the executive suite. It was very large...enough to play preschooler games to run off energy. The linens and towels seemed to be a bit worn but we're not people who are going to whine about it. Gave us plenty of pillows and when we needed sheets for the pull out bed, they were up in moments.
We were happy enough with it to book another night. It was really convenient to the Natural History Museum and the Children's Museum. Also very close to plenty of restaurants, fast food, and the highway.
We had no problems checking in. They were doing work on one side of the hotel but there was no noise.
For free breakfast and cheap rate, we'd definitely be back.

The fitness room was small and hot (no fan). The TV looked like it had been stolen out from the wall. The universal machine was broken and needed a screwdriver placed in it to make it work.
The tub stopper came loose and my husband fell because it travelled around the tub.
My husband was propostitioned to buy drugs while watching a football game in the guest lounge. There were unseemly guys wandering around the halls all night long--filthy t-shirts, etc. We were genuinely concerned for our safety and for our car.
Our TV shut off by itself 4 times in one evening. The remote had no back covering the battery so we had to hold it in the remote manually.
Ice machine didn't work and vending machines weren't stocked.
So much more....
A horrible, horrible experience. We'll never go back there. The Comfort Suites at RDU is 100 times better and it was the same price. Plus the one at RDU has a pool and washer/dryer.
