“Everyone has been so accomodating and friendly. Like having a family.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2010

We were in between homes as we relocated to Raleigh, NC. I found Extended Stay America on the internet. Great price and close to employment. We were only staying for a week. But since we were happy with everything and could not move into our place we have added another 3 weeks on. There was nothing bad to say about this motel. Very nice staff that has taken care of all our needs and a clean laundry room. If you need a place to stay for an extended amount of time or just one night. I recommend the Extended Stay America in Raleigh, NC.

“what you can expect for the money”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2010

the first thing i noticed when entering the lobby was that the place smelled. not altogether bad mind you; it just smelled. like the kitchen at a cut rate italian restuarant. it seemed that there was a good deal of food deliveries going on so i chalked it up to that. the elevator did work but was really dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. the room was clean and the ac did work although i thought it might conk out at any moment. on going downstairs the next morning i noticed a distinct smell in the stairwell; along with a ketchup stain on the wall, and the smell was also in the first floor lobby as well. odd to come down to the smell of "weed" first thing. the outside was fairly well kept except for the overflowing ashtray and garbage can; neither of which was emptied during my 3 nights. i seems that this hotel accepts vouchers from either the state or a charitable organization for temp. housing so maybe it's more difficult to keep up with things. all in all it was what i would expect for the rate we paid on priceline, but in the future i doubt i would stay again.

“HOME AWAY FROM HOME”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2010

Upon arrival we were met by courteous staff, who made sure that every thing was to my liking.
The suite included a kitchen area with all the conviences. and the resting area was clean and comfortable..
The hotel is close to stores and food areas should you not desire to use the kitchen.

Truly a home away from home.

“what a dump”

Yes, we did stay here to save a bit of money...but boy did we pay!
I hardly know where to begin. The entire hotel smelled. From the lobby down the halls.
We "upgraded" to a "Signature Suite"...supposedly the rooms with the fancy new bedding,etc..
Our sheets had holes in them..as did the blankets. Yes, HOLES.
The lock on the window was broken, but we could not tell anyone at the front desk, because if there was someone working there, that also meant the lobby would be full of people hanging out talking..hiding their beers behind chairs when others came through.
We could not get replacement toilet paper, because it was "locked up" until morning..and often times, the desk was unmanned.
People ran through the halls yelling, water ran all night..it was just downright crazy.
The layer of dust and scum around the top of the bathtub...well let's just say I don't think it gets clean often. I could go on and on...but I think you get the point.
Pay a bit extra...and stay someplace else...anyplace else.....

“Would not recommend!”

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend. It took 3 rooms to get one we could "tolerate." We only stayed because we had family in the same hotel. There are strange smells throughout, probably due to the kitchenettes and people cooking. The beds were the most uncomfortable we have ever slept on. There were no shampoo/lotion/condition bottles, which we had counted on since it was a quick weekend trip and we tried to pack light. The towels had a horrible stale chemical smell. There were no ammenities.

The staff (we only saw 2 people) was friendly, but the desk attendant was also cleaning rooms, doing laundry and doing security sweeps, which left the front door unattended. We felt that we needed to take anything valuable with us whenever we left the room. Exterior doors were left propped open.
