My fiance booked a room here when he started a new job in Raleigh, and our house was not ready to move into yet. I traveled to Raleigh to visit him for a weekend. My first night in Raleigh was also my fiance's first night in the hotel. It was also our last night there. Walking through the halls to our room, I noticed that the place was in disrepair. There were holes in the walls, and many of them were poorly patched. The overall look of the place was that is was worn down with scuff marks, dents and dings everywhere.
Once we were in our room, I noticed the appliances and cabinets in the mini-kitchen were very old and falling apart. Some of the cabinets wouldn't close and were falling off the hinges. The pillows were uber-flat. The sheets did not look especially clean. I don't consider myself a super-picky person about where I sleep. I'm happy with a clean, dry, comfy bed and a shower, so I figured I could put up with this place for the few nights I was in Raleigh.
After spending one night there, I got a shower in the morning. I grabbed one of only two towels that had been placed in our room and discovered that the towel was COVERED in hair. The second towel was also covered in hair. I ended up drying off with a hand towel because it was the cleanest I could find. I was so grossed out by this that I refused to spend another night there.
