“Great Hotel & Location! Would have been 5 stars, if bathroom wasn't so small!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

My family & I stayed here while visiting the Raleigh area looking for rental homes. The man at the front desk was friendly and even showed us the room before we booked so my brother could make sure the tv's had the proper hook-ups to play his X-Box. The lobby was clean and manager informed us that we could use the computer & printer for free, newspapers were available for free, as well as apartment rental guides, etc in the lobby. Our room was located on the first floor (I believe it was 135) and was right near the ice machine & vending machines which was convenient. The rooms were very clean! After staying at a different hotel the night before that was not very clean, my mom & I inspected the areas most people don't check; such as behind the tv, tops of lamps, top of headboard, etc. They were all clean & dust free. =] The air worked great, so much in fact we had to turn it down. The beds were super comfy, could use more firm pillows but that is a personal preference I suppose. The bathroom was small, but was adequate and clean. The shower was clean, great water pressure so even though it was small I have not a single complaint. The next morning we went down for the breakfast and there was fresh fruit, cereal, bagels, toast, pancakes/waffles, eggs, biscuits, sausage, juice, etc. It was delicious! We had went down and stayed for a decent amount of time calling rental places and she was constantly cleaning and asking if we needed anything else. Very polite! I'd stay here again!!

“Wonderful Staff that Made my DAY!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 April 2011

The manager named Erin was far the most wonderful manager I have had the experience to meet in my weekly travel experience. She had an amazing ability to greet people, make you feel welcome and above all she made traveling fun. She handled the bar, customers and guest checking in all at the same time. With a glowing smile all the way. She made my day! Thank you Holiday Inn for hiring wonderful people like Erin. She rocked!!!!

“Won't stay here aain”

The room was over priced for what you get. Stayed in a room with double bed, but was too small for them. The bathroom was so small that you had to just about be in the tub to shut the door. The bed and pillows were so hard that we couldn't get any rest. Buffet items were either cold or been sitting to long to eat.

“Decent Hotel but Small Bathrooms”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 February 2011

This seems to be the typical Holiday Inn Express design built sometime in the early or mid-1990s. The room was clean & quiet, and the beds were fine; however the bathroom is tiny containing only the tub/shower and the toilet with just enough room for one person. The vanity is right in front of the entrance door to the room, which can be inconvenient at times, and lacks privacy.
The other problem the rooms have, is that the ether- net ports are located on the walls opposite of the desk, you needed an 8 foot cord if you wanted to use your computer at the desk. This not much of an issue anymore because the wireless network they have now is fast and efficient, but in the past this was not the case.
However this hotel is very convenient to where I conduct business, and is close to restaurants and shopping areas. The breakfast was typical Holiday Inn Express fare, but was clean and well stocked. I have stayed on this property many times and probably will in the future.
