“BEWARE! Dirty, Terrible and BED BUGS!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

Very Dirty and out dated. But most of all I want to warn people of the BED BUGS!! Apparently Bed Bug bites takes up to nine days for them to all come out but after a few days I was covered in extremely uncomfortable itchy bed bug bites all over!! When I called the motel to complain the woman at the front desk was very rude and when I asked the manager for a refund he only offered a discount for the next stay!! Like that is ever going to happen! STAY AWAY!! Beware of the bed bugs!!

“Bates Motel...stay away!”

Decided to stay overnight prior to getting the ferry on our way to the OBX First of all I did not feel safe due to the element hanging out of all the top rooms. The room had a terrible odor and there were flies all over the place. Bonus was seeing the bug traps on the floor. We had a baby with us and I wouldn't think of letting him crawl on the floor! Continental breakfast what a joke! Head to the Mcdonalds!

Do yourself a favor and pay 30 dollars more and stay at the Holiday Inn Express!!! Or stay in your car it would be safer!

“Never stay at this hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2011

The lady at the front desk was rude, The internet service did not work in the room. Most of the guests told me the same thing, no internet connection in the room. Other complaints of the hotel is hot water stops working some times.

I said something to the front desk the next morning about the internet connection not working and the man laughed at me. Very rude people in this hotel. The room does smell. In the past history, this hotel had a meth lab in two of the rooms operating when the police and HAZMAT had to completely strip the rooms down to the bare walls and floor. There is not security at this hotel so stay at your own risk. I only stayed there because the Holiday Inn Express had no vacancies.

“How did someone consider this not terrible? Was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at”

I wrote a review before but I guess someone deleted it. Long story short. Worst hotel ever and I've seen a pimp use his strong hand at an Econo Lodge in 98 in Jacksonville FL ask my brother.

Rooms smelled HORRIBLE. Mine wasn't as bad as my coworker;s. I'm not sure how he could sleep without a clothespin on his nose, I stayed in his room for 30 mins drinking a couple brews and I wanted to puke the hole time. Oh and My coworker also got flea bites.

They have a pool, but there was stuff floating in it. Not sure what.

“Good Stop Over - Best Prices”

If you love history, DO NOT just pass through the tiny town of Plymouth NC and thereby miss excellent stories of the Civil War as told by Harry Thompson at the Museum. And when in Plymouth, consider staying at the Port O'Plymouth Inn. It's not fancy but it is clean and reasonably priced. I first stayed here 30 years ago and still find it convenient to the remarkable town of Plymouth (which can't be appreciated unless you get out of the car and talk to the people.) TV good sized, beds are comfortable though not the newest; the staff friendly. And if you go much further toward the coast, Ouch!!! - You'll pay for it - at least during summer resort time. There is a "club" or former lounge in the back but it appears vacant. The front desk has a high barrier which is awkward and the breakfast is miserable. A Mexican restaurant is a few feet away and does offer moderately good food at a good price and Margaritas. Though near highway I did not hear road traffic. Room was quiet.
