We stayed when house-hunting in area. Like other reviewers, we were a little surprised that the two beds are full, not queens. The air conditioner was loud and clunky as it cycled on and off. That said, the staff of the hotel was absolutely outstanding. From check-in, to housekeeping, to the morning breakfast hostess, they were all cheerful and service oriented. We left a pillow which they faithfully kept for us until our next trip to Brevard. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn (which is to say pretty good). Location is good for access to grocery stores and several restaurants and a great jump off point into Pisgah National Forest.

We were in the area fly fishing and this place was perfect. We got the last room available because of the fall leaves. It was literally a 10 minute drive to the river. Awesome

We were on a waterfall shoot so this was the best hotel in the area. They even gave us a meeting room with our 8 bookings for 2-3 nights. The room was dreadfully hot but as soon as we complained they had the heat/ac unit replaced in under 2 hours. They know the old ones are a problem so - don't be shy about mentioning it. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. We were surprised that a room with 2 beds really meant 2 double beds - not queen sized beds. I can't remember the last time I saw a double bed in a major hotel chain's rooms! We also struggled to find outlets to charge and use our 2 computers, tablet, 2 smartphones, and 4 cameras. This hotel is promoted as a Photographer's jumping off spot for the many wonderful waterfalls in the area. If you book here, bring a power strip!
