The room was small but we weren't there much. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner as the shower had a little yuck here and there. The hotel itself was clean and smelled good which is always a plus in my book. They offered a real hot breakfast and not just the typical continental of bagels, fruit, and cold cereal. They had different hot breakfast items each morning which was again a plus. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms that was speedy which is more than I can say for the Syracuse, NY airport! Overall I was satisfied with the room rate, cleanliness, and service. The maids were friendly and so wasn't the front counter staff. I would stay there again.

I am visiting Pinehurst, NC on a golf outing, and the package included the Comfort Suites Hotel in Pinehurst. It has been an excellent choice. The room was clean and roomy, the internet was easy and fast, and the rate was good. Their breakfast is above average for most chain hotels (sausage, waffles, eggs, free newspaper while they lasted). Overall, very good choice.

Upon arrival until the moment we departed two days later, the staff of the Comfort Inn, Pinehurst was exceptional! The front desk clerk could not have made our stay more enjoyable. She voluntarily took care of our every need, including suggesting dining locations and making dinner reservations at an excelllent (and crowded) restaurant. A different clerk offered detailed directions to help us get around the area and the woman tending the small private bar offered excellent advice, directions and suggestions for shopping. The hotel and our three rooms were immaculate! The breakfast was quite delicious, well stocked, and maintained by a helpful and friendly staff. I have stayed in expensive hotels in NYC, San Francisco, etc. and have never been treated as nicely. Plus the rate was quite a bargain!!!
I can't imagine anything else that could have been done to make our stay more comfortable and/or enjoyable.
