Stayed here in Oct. for a family golf outing. Brother, nephews and son-in-law.
Have never stayed in a Springhill Suites before. Was very suprised by the amenities and size of the rooms. Each room had 2 flat screen tv's, 2 King beds, a desk and kitchenete.
A buffet breakfast was also included but was not vert tasteful. Rubber eggs.
Staff was very friendly, helpfull. Directed us to a great Pub for adult beverages and dinner.
Will stay there again this year if possible.

Have to finally speak up and hope someone within Marriott leadership is reading these reviews. We stay at this Springhill Suites hotel in Pinehurst several times a year. Must agree with the recent reviews that this hotel is dirty, the worst Springhill we have ever stayed in, and is in a state of serious decline. (If it is on the standard 7 year cycle of upgrades.....scary that no upgrades to this property until approx. 2014?!)
The staff remains friendly, but the hotel needs major upgrades. It does smell, the rooms are often dirty. Marriott should take action and finally clean-up this hotel which is usually very busy with the many golf tournaments, golf outings. Is the demand such that Marriott doesn't have to clean up this place?
Our air-conditioning unit didn't work during our last stay. Staying at the nicer Residence Inn down the street means about $30 or $40. more per night. I am amazed that Marriott allows for this sub-par hotel to remain just that: sub-par.

I always try and stay at springhills cause they are clean and new and contemporary with great amenities. This is not just the worst SpringHill I've stayed at but the worst MARRIOT I've stayed at. Their is nothing here that makes this place any different than a comfort inn except its more expensive. Very cheap fitness center, very old rooms in desperate need of a remodel, old mattresses ( I love SpringHill/Marriott mattresses usually), old and crappy Ac/heater unit (no wall thermostat either), etc. I can go on.... I don't know how Marriott passed this off for a SpringHill tag!

Small suite. Friendly staff. Just an ok continental breakfast. An ok place if you are out golfing all day.
